4. 실존하는 영계

여러분! 인간에게는 몸과 마음이 있고, 마음 위에는 영인체가 있으며, 그 영인체가 들어가 살게 되는 영계에는 물론 육신이 살고 있는 현실세계의 어디든지 하나님은 실존하십니다. 그리고 인간은 참사랑을 통해 하나님과 완전히 하나가 될 때 완전한 사람이 됩니다. 이런 관점에서 완전한 사람이란 비록 작은 개체의 모습일지라도 전체 역사를 대표하는 존재요, 또 미래의 모든 인연을 대신하는 존재이기 때문에 천주적인 가치를 지니게 되는 것입니다. 우리가 진정 인간의 이런 천주적인 가치를 안다면 생을 살아가면서 마음을 앞에 모시고 따라가며 절대 성을 완성하는 삶을 살아야 할 것이라는 점이 확실해질 것입니다.

그래서 여러분의 양심은 여러분의 모든 언행은 물론 생각까지도 감지하여 알고 있는 것입니다. 스승보다 먼저 알고 부모보다 먼저 알며 하나님보다도 먼저 아는 것입니다. 따라서 영원한 스승인 양심의 명령에 절대복종하며 살기만 하면, 여러분의 영생은 절대 보장이 되는 것입니다. 하나님의 창조가 그렇게 되어 있습니다.

인간의 구조를 들여다보면, 하나님은 본래 인간을 이중구조로 창조하신 것을 알 수 있습니다. 유형세계인 현상세계의 축소체로서 육신을 창조하시고 무형세계의 대표요, 주인으로 세우기 위해 영인체를 창조하셨습니다. 따라서 인간은 지상계에서 한 백년쯤 살다가 육신의 기능이 다하면 자연스럽고 자동적으로 무형세계인 영계로 들어가게 되어 있는 것입니다. 이처럼 영계는 육신을 터로 하여 살고 있는 우리의 눈으로 볼 수 없을 뿐이지, 지상생활의 자동적이고 필연적인 연장일 뿐입니다. 하나님께서 창조해 주신 인간의 영원한 본향입니다.

영계는 이처럼 엄연히 존재하는 것입니다. 망상의 세계도 아니요, 상상의 세계도 아닙니다. 이것은 인간의 선택권 밖에 있습니다. 좋다고 해서 가고 싫다고 해서 가지 않아도 되는 그런 세계가 아닙니다. 하나님이 영원하고 불변하신 분인 것처럼 당신이 창조하신 영계도 영원하고 불변한 것입니다. 우리가 지상계에서 육신을 쓰고 현상세계와 각종의 관계를 맺어 가며 사는 것과 마찬가지로 영계에서도 인간은 영인체를 갖고 영계의 모든 현상과 밀접한 관계를 유지하며 살아가야 하는 숙명적 존재입니다.

그런데 인간의 영인체와 육신의 관계를 놓고 볼 때 보다 더 중요한 것은 육신이 아니라 영인체라는 것입니다. 육신은 한 백년쯤 버티다 간다고 하지만 영인체는 시간과 공간권을 초월하여 영생하는 것입니다. 제아무리 지상계에서 호의호식하며 잘사는 사람이라도 결국은 죽는 것 아닙니까?

따라서 여러분의 삶은 영적인 기준과 육적인 기준을 잘 조화시켜 영육이 합한 완성실체를 이루어 살다가 가야 합니다. 현상세계요 유한세계인 지상계의 삶에서 육신을 터로 하여 영인체를 완성시켜야 하는 책임이 있다는 말입니다. 그런데 영인체의 완성은 자동적으로 오는 것이 아닙니다. 반드시 참사랑의 실천을 통해서 몸과 마음이 완전 일체가 된 삶의 터 위에서라야 완숙한 영인체가 결과맺어지는 것입니다.

여러분! 가을이 되어 창고에 들어가는 잘 익은 과일이 되기 위해서는 봄과 여름이라는 과정을 거치면서 자연계가 제공해 주는 영양소와 주인의 자상한 보살핌이 절대로 필요합니다. 게으르고 무식한 주인을 만난 과수원의 과일은 각종 질병과 악천후에 시달려 익지도 못한 채 낙과하거나 벌레 먹은 과일로 분류되고 말 것입니다. 과일은 과일이지만 다 같은 과일이 아닙니다. 모든 과일이 다 시장에 내다가 팔 수 있는 완성품이 될 수 없다는 것입니다.

나무 위에서 완숙된 과일은 자동적으로 주인의 창고에 들어갑니다. 마찬가지로, 인간의 영인체는 나무와 같은 입장인 지상계의 삶에서 완성을 보아야만 자동적으로 무형세계인 영계의 천국에 들어가는 것입니다. 다시 말해서 인간은 육신을 쓰고 사는 지상계의 삶에서 완숙한 삶, 즉 이 땅에서 천국을 이루어 즐기며 살다가 가야 자동적으로 천상천국에 입성하게 된다는 것입니다.

지상계에 사는 동안 여러분의 일거수일투족은 이와 같은 하늘의 공법을 기준으로 하여 하나도 빠짐없이 여러분의 영인체에 기록되는 것입니다. 따라서 영계에 들어가는 여러분은 육계에서의 삶을 백 퍼센트 수록한 영인체의 모습입니다. 잘 익은 선한 삶이었는지 벌레 먹고 썩은 악한 삶이었는지는 여러분의 영인체에 적나라하게 나타난다는 것입니다. 하나님이 여러분의 심판주가 아니라 여러분 스스로가 자신의 심판관이 된다는 뜻입니다.

이런 엄청나고 무서운 천리를 안다면 어찌 감히 지상계의 삶을 온갖 사탄의 유혹에 빠져 이기적이고 쾌락만을 좇는 패덕의 삶으로 끝낼 수 있겠습니까? 여러분의 영인체에 상처를 입히고 흠집을 내는 일은 목숨을 걸고 삼가야 합니다. 천국행과 지옥행이 오늘 이 시간 여러분의 생각과 언행에서 결정된다는 사실을 확실히 명심하시기 바랍니다.

그런데 여러분의 삶을 들여다보면 겉사람과 속사람이 끊임없이 갈등하며 싸우고 있음을 부정할 수 없을 것입니다. 얼마나 더 이 싸움을 계속하시겠습니까? 십년입니까, 백년입니까? 우주의 모든 존재에는 엄연한 질서가 있습니다. 하나님께서는 우리 인간을 그렇게 불완전한 상태로 창조하시지 않았다는 것입니다.

겉사람 된 육신의 유혹을 과감히 떨쳐 버리고 속사람 된 양심의 길을 따라 절대 성을 완성하고 인생 승리를 달성해야 할 것이 여러분의 인간 된 의무요 책임이라는 것을 알아야 할 것입니다. 이와 같은 생을 사는 사람에게는 천운도 함께해 주는 것이며, 영인체의 완성도 볼 수 있는 것입니다.

4. 実在する霊界

皆様。人間には体と心があり、心の上には霊人体があって、その霊人体が入っていって暮らす霊界はもちろん、肉身が暮らしている現実世界のどこにでも神様は遍在されます。そして、人間は真の愛を通して神様と完全に一つになるとき、完全な人になるのです。このような観点から、完全な人とは、たとえ小さな個体の姿だったとしても、歴史全体を代表する存在であり、また、未来のすべての関係を代表する存在なので、天宙的な価値をもつようになるのです。私たちが本当に人間のこのような天宙的な価値を知るならば、生きていくにおいて、心を先に立てて従っていき、絶対「性」を完成する人生を生きるべきだという点が明確になるでしょう。
 
ですから、皆様の良心は、皆様のすべての言行はもちろん、考えまでも感知して、知っているのです。師よりも先に知り、父母よりも先に知り、神様よりも先に知るのです。したがって、永遠の師である良心の命令に絶対服従しながら生きさえすれば、皆様の永生は絶対に保障されます。神様の創造がそのようになっているのです。
 
人間の構造をよく見てみると神様は本来、人間を二重構造で創造されたことが分かります。有形世界である現象世界の縮小体として肉身を創造され、無形世界の代表であり主人として立てるために、霊人体を創造されました。したがって、人間は地上界で百年くらい生きて肉身の機能が尽きれば、自然に、そして自動的に無形世界である霊界に入っていくようになっているのです。このように霊界は、肉身を土台として生きている私たちの目では見ることができないだけであって、地上生活の自動的で必然的な延長にすぎないのです。神様が創造してくださった、人間の永遠な本郷です。
 
霊界は、このように厳然として存在します。妄想の世界でもなく、想像の世界でもありません。これは、人間の選択権の外にあるのです。良いからといって行き、嫌だからといって行かなくてもよい、そのような世界ではありません。神様が永遠で不変な方であるように、御自身が創造された霊界も永遠で不変なのです。私たちが地上界で、肉身をもって現象世界と様々な関係を結びながら暮らすのと同じように、霊界でも人間は、霊人体をもって霊界のすべての現象と密接な関係を維持しながら生きていかなければならない宿命的存在です。
 
ところで、人間の霊人体と肉身の関係について見るとき、より重要なのは、肉身ではなく霊人体です。肉身は百年くらい生きれば死にますが、霊人体は、時間と空間を超越して永生するのです。いくら地上界で良い服を着て良い物を食べ、豊かに暮らす人でも、結局は死ぬのではないでしょうか。したがって皆様の人生は、霊的な基準と肉的な基準をよく調和させ、霊肉が合わさった完成実体となって暮らしてから逝かなければなりません。現象世界であり、有限世界である地上界の人生で、肉身を土台として霊人体を完成させる責任があるということです。ところが、霊人体の完成は自動的にやって来るのではありません。必ず真の愛の実践を通して、体と心が完全一体となった生活の土台の上でこそ、完熟した霊人体が結果として実っていくのです。
 
皆様。秋になって、倉庫に入るよく熟した果物になるためには、春と夏という過程を経ながら、自然界が提供してくれる栄養素と主人の細やかな世話が絶対に必要です。怠惰で無知な主人に出会った果樹園の果物は、様々な疾病と悪天候に悩まされ、熟すこともできないまま落果したり、虫に食われた果物として選別されたりしてしまうでしょう。果物は果物ですが、すべてが同じ果物なのではありません。すべての果物が、市場に出して売れる完成品になるわけではないのです。
 
木の上で完熟した果物は、そのまま主人の倉庫に入っていきます。同じように、人間の霊人体は、木と同じ立場である地上界の人生で完成してこそ、自動的に無形世界である霊界の天国に入っていくのです。言い換えれば、人間は肉身をもって暮らす地上界の人生で、完熟した人生、すなわち、この地に天国を築き、楽しく暮らしてから逝ってこそ、自動的に天上天国に入城するようになるというのです。地上界で暮らす間、皆様の一挙手一投足は、このような天の公法を基準として、一つ残らず皆様の霊人体に記録されます。したがって、霊界に入っていく皆様は、肉界での人生を一〇〇パーセント収録した霊人体の姿なのです。よく熟した善の人生だったのか、虫に食われ腐った悪の人生だったのかは、皆様の霊人体に赤裸々に現れます。神様が皆様の審判主ではなく、皆様自らが自身の審判官になるという意味です。
 
このような途方もなく恐ろしい天理を知れば、どうしてあえて、地上界の人生を、あらゆるサタンの誘惑に陥り、利己的で快楽ばかりを追い求める背徳の人生として終えることができるでしょうか。皆様の霊人体に傷を負わせ、傷跡をつけることは、命を懸けて慎まなければなりません。天国行きと地獄行きが、きょうこの時間、皆様の考えと言行で決定されるという事実を、はっきりと肝に銘じてくださるようにお願いします。
 
しかし、皆様の人生をよく見れば、外なる人と内なる人が絶えず葛藤し、闘っていることを否定できないでしょう。あとどのくらいこの争いを継続されますか。十年ですか、百年ですか。宇宙のすべての存在には、厳然とした秩序があります。神様は、私たち人間をそのように不完全な状態で創造されてはいないというのです。外なる人である肉身の誘惑を果敢に振り切って、内なる人である良心の道に従って絶対「性」を完成し、人生の勝利を達成することが、皆様の人間としての義務であり、責任であることを知らなければなりません。このような人生を生きる人には天運が共にあり、霊人体も完成できるのです。

4. The spirit world really exists

Ladies and gentlemen, each person has a mind and body, and a spirit self that is more elevated than the mind. God resides in the world in which we live with our physical bodies and also in the spirit world, where our spirits are destined to go. Therefore, we are complete only when we have become completely one with God in true love. Such a perfected person might be a relatively insignificant individual; however, as a representative of all of history and all potential future relationships, this person could be said to possess infinite value. Once we are aware of our cosmic value, we realize that we need to lead our lives in service to our minds for the sake of perfecting a standard of absolute sexual morality. 

This is why your conscience knows and perceives every action you have performed, and also every thought you have entertained. Your conscience is aware of these things before your own teachers, parents or even God. Hence, if you were to live in absolute obedience to the commands of your conscience, which is your teacher for eternity, you would be absolutely guaranteed to have eternal life. Such is the way of God’s creation. 

Consider the structure of a human being from a different perspective. We can recognize that God created us as beings with dual characteristics. He created our physical bodies as miniatures of the corporeal, physical world; likewise, He created our spiritual bodies as representatives of the incorporeal, spirit world. We are meant to take dominion of love over both worlds. Accordingly, God intended each person to live for a hundred years or so in the physical world and, once the physical body ceases to function, pass on naturally and automatically into the incorporeal, spirit world. In this way, the spirit world is the automatic and inevitable extension of our lives on earth, even though our physical eyes cannot perceive it. That world is humankind’s eternal, original homeland created by God. 

The spirit world actually does exist. It is not a world that has been fantasized or imagined into existence. We do not have the right to choose; it is not a world we can go to if we please or refuse to go to if we would rather not. Just as God is eternal and unchanging, the spirit world He created is also eternal and unchanging. Just as we live in the physical world in our physical bodies and form all sorts of relationships with the things of this world, likewise in the spirit world we are destined to continue living in our spiritual bodies, forming and maintaining close relationships with all phenomena of the spirit world. 

Although everyone has both a spirit and a body, the spirit is the more important of the two. The physical body lasts for about a hundred years before it ceases to function, yet the spirit lasts eternally, transcending time and space. Isn’t even a person who dresses and fares well in the physical world bound to die? Therefore, before you pass on to the next world, you have to achieve unity between your spirit and your physical body by living your earthly life in such a way that you meet the standards of both the physical and spirit worlds. 

In other words, you have the responsibility to perfect your spirit within your physical body based on the finite life you live in the tangible, physical world. This does not mean, however, that your spirit self automatically grows to perfection. Your spirit self can mature fully only on the foundation of your having achieved complete unity between your mind and body during your earthly life, by expressing true love through action. 

Ladies and gentlemen, in order for fruit to ripen and be put into storage in autumn, it must first pass through the growing process during spring and summer and be provided with the nutrients supplied by nature and the tender loving care of its owner. Fruit grown in an orchard by a lazy and ignorant owner will be afflicted with all kinds of diseases and be affected by foul weather. Eventually it will fall from the tree before it is ripe, or be classified as worm-infested. Though it will still be fruit, it will be different from other fruit because it will never be good enough to sell in the market. 

Fruit that has fully matured on the tree will automatically go into the owner’s storehouse. Similarly, only when a person’s spirit has reached perfection during life in the physical world, which can be likened to the tree, will it automatically enter the incorporeal spirit world of the kingdom of heaven. In other words, a person will enter the kingdom of God in the spirit world automatically only after qualifying for and enjoying the kingdom of heaven on earth by living as a fully mature person while in his or her physical body. 

During your life on earth, your every action and movement, without exception, is recorded on your spirit self, with the public laws of Heaven as the standard. Accordingly, you will enter the spirit world in the form of your spirit self, which has recorded your life on earth with 100 percent accuracy. Your spirit will show plainly whether you have led a ripe life of goodness, or a wormy, rotten life of sinfulness. What this means is that it is not God who will judge you; you will be your own judge. If you are aware of this astonishing rule from Heaven, will you spend the remaining days of your life on earth in selfishness and immorality, succumbing to all the temptations of Satan, in pursuit of only pleasure? No. Rather you will abstain from injuring and scarring your spirit bodies, even at the risk of your earthly life. Please bear this truth in mind: Whether you are bound for heaven or for hell is determined by your thoughts, speech and behavior in each moment. 

Nevertheless, when you look into your lives, your outer self and inner self are undeniably in a relationship of ongoing conflict and struggle. How much longer will you allow this fighting to continue? Ten years? A hundred years? In contrast, there is undeniably a proper order for all forms of existence in the universe. This indicates that God did not create us in this state of conflict and disorder. You have to know that it is your duty and responsibility as a human being to dispel all temptations directed at your outer self, your physical body, to work to perfect absolute sexual morality, and to gain victory in life by following the way of your inner self, your conscience. Heavenly fortune will be with those who lead their lives in such a way. They will attain perfection of their spirit selves.
