🐉 A Dragon Meets Another Dragon at Yongdusan Park 😂
And here comes the funniest coincidence of the day.
Timo has a Korean-style dragon tattoo on his arm, together with the Korean word 태권도 (Taekwondo). 🐉🥋
So when we arrived at Yongdusan Park and saw the huge dragon sculpture, I couldn't resist.
Hey Timo, look! Your dragon has found its Korean relative! 😂
Of course, we had to compare them and take some photos.
Yongdusan Dragon vs. Timo’s Dragon.
One is huge and sits proudly on the mountain.
The other has traveled all the way from Finland on Timo’s arm. 🇫🇮➡️🇰🇷😂
After walking around the park in the hot August weather, we were both sweating quite a bit. So we finally escaped the heat and sat down inside the Palgakjeong, the traditional octagonal pavilion, for some cold drinks.
Now it’s time to cool down, rest our tired legs, and just sit around chatting about life, martial arts, Korea, Finland… and whatever else comes up. 😄
Sometimes these simple moments are the best part of traveling.
A dragon, a cold drink, a good laugh, and a good friend — not a bad way to spend a summer afternoon in Busan. 🐉🥤😂
