A: Hey, Michelle! I've never seen you at this grocery store before.
M: Yeah, I sometimes come here because there are more options for people with dietary restrictions./ A: Oh, like gluten-free food?
M: That's only scratching the surface. My husband, Jack, has gluten sensitivity. Our daughter is severely lactose intolerant, and our sun has a nut allergy.// A: Food sensitivities and allergies seem to be on the rise.
M: Yeah, I really have my work cut out for me when I make family dinners. I have to be so careful.
M: Hey, Kayla, how's it going? Aren't you supposed to be on the plane?
K.:Yes, but they overbooked it, and I got bumped! I don't know what to do.
M: Don't worry, we can turn this around for you. There are a lot of rules protecting the passengers that most people don't know about.
K: Luckily, I'm not in a hurry to get to Cleveland. The conference starts Wednesday.
M: Let me find the new regulations that recently went into effect on the government website./ K: Okey, I'll go find the airline office.
M: Hey, Ian! Did you just run here from home? You're sweating a lot.
I: No, I'm just nervous. I want to ask Sandra out, but I'm afraid she'll say no./ M: Haven't you two been friends for like five years?
I: That's the problem. I'm afraid I might be in the friend zone with her. I mean, it sometimes feels like we're flirting, but maybe I'm wrong.
M: There's only one way to find out, you just have to take the plunge./ I: What if she say no? Can we still be friends?
H: Gia, you look exhausted. Didn't you get any sleep last night?/ G: Not really. You were snoring all night and it kept me awake.
H: I know I snore once in a while, but I never thought it was that bad.
G: It's bad and I'm, at my wit's end. I tried to grin and bear it, but I can't sleep anymore.
H: Honey, I'm so sorry. But what can I do about it?/ G: I think you should talk to your doctor and see what he thinks
O: I heard you're thinking of expanding your business. Can you afford it right now?
J: I don't have enough money right now. But it's the best time to expand since I've cornered the market in my field.
O: I guess you'll have to find an investor. Don't you have a rich uncle?
J: I've asked my family. Nobody has anything to spare right now, even Uncle Mike./ O: What are you looking for in an investor?
J: Someone who will take a hands-off approach and let me run the company my way.
While the traditional long white wedding dress dominated the last century, today's brides are more fashion forward in their tastes.
As Gen Z and Millennial women begin getting married they are thinking more in terms of a "wedding wardrobe."
As the world becomes more global, marriages between couples from different countries has led to multiple ceremonies and, thus, a need for more than one wedding outfit.
The fashion industry has responded by shaking things up and offering more choices and more styles.
Does this mean the traditional wedding dress is "a thing of the past? Not at all. However, it may become less common over time.
