Trump's game of changing partner in the Korean Peninsulla
What happened between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un at Singapore last Tuesday was a sheer comedy. Kim. Jong Un was the landslide victor, and Trump looked as if he were brainwashed by Kim Jong Un. The South Korean rightists became complete losers while the leftists were collateral winners.
International politics around the Korean Peninsula will be a game in which China will orbit 'Kim Jong Un + South Korean leftists' with the blessing of the U.S. endorsement.
Trump said "The Korea-U.S. joint military drill is a provocative act against North Korea" siding with the North's age long claim by 100 percent." "The CVID was not a central issue in this debate," he said. The reduction and withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea was initially said to have been out of discussion, but later he confessed he hoped to see the eventual withdrawal someday.
If the CVID was out of the question, then why would he have been making such a fuss about the talk with Kim Juing Un till now? Trump's all those sticks along with the carrots to North Korea hitherto have then meant nothing but a kind of stalking for the yearning of "Let's be in love".
When Kim Jong Un at last came out to him after long game of brinkmanship responding "Ok, Trump, lets be in love", Trump got so much excited as to lose his self-control boasting "Hey you all my predecessors, see that I am the only one who succeeded in seducing this uneasy girl named Kim Jong Un"
As of today, the Korea-U.S. alliance has effectively been broken to pieces. With not even joint military drill at all, is the alliance solid or delusive?
Trump might have calculated that even if Kim, if they were to be friends, hide a few nuclear weapons through the back door, that will not pose as any significant harm to the U.S..
Trump might also have concluded that he had no more reason to respect South Korea as a trustworthy ally. that the South Korean right wing camp seemed hardly to make a comeback. "Then, isn't it much rewarding deal for me to make friend with Kim Jong Un, the God Father of the leftists of the entire Korean Peninsula?" He might have well reasoned this way.
So, the South Korean right wing camp turned out to be just like a 'duck's egg fallen into river' meaning they became helpless. The rise and fall of individuals and groups can not be avoided. If you didn't want this to happen, you should have come to your senses earlier. There is nothing to blame for. It's all your fault.
