7. 3시대를 사는 인생노정

인간은 어머니 뱃속에 있다가 태어나 일정 기간을 땅에서 살다가 죽음을 맞이하게 마련입니다. 인간은 세상에 태어나기 전에는 어머니 뱃속에서 10개월을 보냅니다. 뱃속에 있을 때 어린 태아의 자유는 한계가 있습니다. 그는 어머니의 영양을 탯줄로 이어받고 자라면서 두 손가락을 폈다 움츠리거나 입을 벌렸다 오므렸다 하고, 두 발로 버둥대는 것이 전부일 뿐입니다. 그러나 그 태아에게는 어머니 뱃속이 자유천지이며 생의 전 영역일 것입니다. 그 태아가 10개월 만에 세상에 태어나 자라게 되는데, 그 이후의 세계가 오늘 우리가 살고 있는 현재의 지상세계이며 인간사회인 것입니다.

사람은 사랑을 위해서 태어났습니다. 그렇기 때문에 참된 부모의 사랑에 뿌리를 박고 어머니 아버지의 보호와 사랑의 품인 복중에서 자라다가 태어나, 20세까지 철모르고 부모로부터 진자리 마른자리 다 탓하지 않고 추한 것을 추한 것인 줄 모르고 다 기쁨으로 소화할 수 있는 사랑 가운데서 자라다가, 사랑의 상대자를 만나서 서로 위하는 천리의 사랑에 접붙여야 합니다. 그런 일생 과정을 가다가 하나님의 사랑이 얼마만큼이냐 하는 것을 체험해야 하나님의 대상 사랑의 실체권이 완성되기 때문에 아들딸을 낳아 사랑하게 하는 것입니다.

세상에 태어난 인간은 우주를 태아 때 어머니의 뱃속에 비유되는 삶과 같이 살아가고 있습니다. 한마디로 우주 어머니 품속에서 인간 백년의 생애를 살아가고 있는 것입니다. 태아가 어머니 뱃속 밖의 인간세상을 몰랐듯이 오늘 지상세계에서 살아가고 있는 인간들은 죽음 이후의 무형실체세계에 대한 실재를 알지 못하고 있습니다. 다만 짐작하여 어머니 뱃속에서 인간세계에 대해 알지 못했지만 실재하는 것을 확인하고서 사후세계도 있을 것이라는 막연한 심증을 가질 뿐입니다.

하지만 분명한 것은, 인간의 사후세계에 대한 심증적 존재 여부에 상관없이 영계는 확실히 존재하고 있다는 것입니다. 그러나 사후세계는 인간이 감지할 수 있는 오관작용 밖에 있기에 종교를 통한 믿음으로 불신을 극복해야 됩니다.

인간의 삶에는 3시대가 있습니다. 동물계에도 수중시대가 있고, 육지시대가 있고, 공중시대가 있습니다. 모든 것이 이 3시대를 거쳐야 됩니다. 사람도 마찬가지입니다. 만물의 영장으로서 모든 만물을 주관할 수 있는 자격을 가지려면 사람도 수중시대가 있어서 어떤 존재보다도 완전한 생활체를 갖추어야 합니다. 그다음엔 육지시대가 있어서 어떤 동물보다도 최고의 자격을 가진 존재여야 합니다. 그다음엔 공중시대가 있어야 합니다. 그런데 사람은 날개가 없습니다.

날개가 없는데 어떻게 날 수 있습니까? 날아다니는 어떠한 새보다도, 어떠한 곤충보다도 높이 날 수 있고 멀리도 날 수 있어야 된다는 것입니다. 그러려면 어떻게 돼야 합니까? 그것은 실체인 육신 가지고는 안 됩니다. 아무리 뛰어 봐야 얼마 못 갑니다. 그렇지만 사람은 만물의 영장이고 하나님이 영적인 존재이기 때문에 주관권을 갖든가 상대적 자리에 서려면 그 활동무대가 하나님과 같아야 합니다. 전기나 빛으로 말하자면, 빛의 속도는 1초 동안에 30만 킬로미터를 갑니다. 그러나 그것보다도 더 빠른 작용을 할 수 있는 것이 사람입니다. 그것은 바로 영인체입니다.

우리가 이 세상에 살고 있지만, 이 세상만 있는 것이 아니고 영계가 있습니다. 그러면 우리가 가야 할 곳, 우리가 가서 살아야 할 곳이 어디입니까? 영계입니다. 영계란 사랑의 공기가 충만한 영원한 세계입니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리 일생은 영원한 세계에 들어가기 위해 준비하는 기간입니다.

7. 三時代を生きる人生路程

人間は、母親のおなかの中で過ごしてから生まれ、一定期間を地上で生きてから死を迎えるようになっています。人間は、世の中に生まれる前に母親のおなかの中で十カ月を過ごします。おなかの中にいるとき、幼い胎児の自由には限界があります。胎児はで母親の栄養をへその緒を通して受け取って成長しながら、両手を伸ばしたり引っ込めたり、口を開けたりすぼめたりし、両足でばたばたするのが精いっぱいです。しかし、その胎児にとっては母親のおなかの中が自由天地であり、生の全領域なのです。その胎児は十カ月目に世の中に生まれて育っていきますが、それ以後の世界が、今日、私たちの暮らしている現在の地上世界であり、人間社会なのです。
 
人は愛のために生まれました。ですから、真の父母の愛に根を下ろし、母親と父親の保護と愛の懐である腹中で育ってから生まれ、二十歳までは分別もなく、寝床が湿っていても乾いていても父母から責められることもなく、汚い物でもそれを忘れて、すべて喜んで消化できる愛の中で育ち、そして愛の相対者に出会い、互いのために生きる天理の愛に接ぎ木しなければなりません。そのような一生の過程を通過しながら、神様の愛がどのようなものかを体験してこそ、神様の対象愛の実体圏が完成するので、息子、娘を生んで、愛するようにさせるのです。
 
この世に生まれた人間は、胎児のときの母親のおなかの中にたとえられる宇宙で生きています。一言で言えば、宇宙という母親の懐の中で、人間の百年の生涯を生きているのです。胎児が、母親のおなかの外の人間の世界を知らなかったように、今日、地上世界で生きている人間は、死後の無形実体世界に対する実在が分からずにいます。ただ、母親のおなかの中の胎児が地上世界の存在について分からなかったのと同じように、自分たちが分からないだけで死後の世界もあるかもしれないという、漠然とした心証をもつだけです。しかしはっきりとしていることは、人間の死後の世界に関する心証的な証言に関わりなく、霊界は確実に存在しているということです。しかし死後の世界は、人間が感知できる五官作用の外にあるので、宗教を通した信仰をもって、不信を克服しなければなりません。
 
人間の人生には三時代があります。動物界にも水中時代があり、陸地時代があり、空中時代があります。すべてのものがこの三時代を経なければなりません。人も同じです。万物の霊長として、すべての万物を主管できる資格を備えるためには、人にも水中時代があって、どのような存在よりも完全な生活体を備えなければなりません。次に陸地時代があって、どのような動物よりも最高の資格をもった存在でなければなりません。その次には空中時代がなければなりません。ところが人には、翼がないのです。
 
翼がないのにどのようにして飛べますか。飛び回るどのような鳥よりも、どのような昆虫よりも、高く飛び、遠くにも飛べなければならないというのです。そのためには、どのようにしなければならないのでしょうか。それは、実体である肉身をもってしてはできません。いくら飛び跳ねてみても、飛ぶことはできません。しかし、人は万物の霊長であり、神様が霊的な存在なので、主管権をもとうとしたり、相対的立場に立とうとしたりすれば、その活動舞台が神様と同じでなければなりません。電気や光で言えば、光の速度は一秒間に三十万キロメートル進みます。しかし、それよりもっと速く移動できるのが人の霊人体です。
 
私たちはこの世に住んでいますが、この世だけがあるのではなく、霊界があります。それでは、私たちが行くべき所、私たちが行って暮らすべき所はどこでしょうか。霊界です。霊界は、愛の空気が満ちあふれた永遠の世界です。ですから私たちの一生は、永遠の世界に入るために準備する期間なのです。

7. The three eras of the human course

Everyone is born after a time spent in our mother’s womb. We live on earth for a certain time, and then we die. Prior to birth, the fetus spends about ten months in the mother s womb. While in the womb, the fetus has limited freedom. It develops by receiving nutrients from the mother through the umbilical cord. About all it can do is bend its fingers, open and close its mouth, and wriggle its feet.

Nevertheless, for the fetus, the mothers womb is a world of freedom representing the entirety of the realm of life. After about ten months, the fetus is born into the world and begins to grow. A child is born into this earthly world where we all live. This is human society.

Why are people born? We are born for the sake of love. This is the reason that a child, firmly rooted in parental love, will develop in the mother’s womb, the bosom of the parents’ protection and love. After the child is born, he or she won’t know any better and may wet the bed, but loving parents will not blame the child for this. Their love is such that they do not recognize ugliness as being ugly. Their love lets them digest everything in joy. When a child reaches maturity, at around twenty years of age, he or she would meet an eternal partner in love and be engrafted onto a love whereby each lives for the sake of the other, according to the principle of Heaven.

As we follow this life course, we need to experience the greatness of God’s love, so that the substantial realm of God’s love for all of His object partners can be fulfilled. Therefore we, as parents, need to have children and give our love to them.

After being born into the world, our lives can still be compared to the life of a fetus in our mother’s womb. In other words, we live in the womb of our mother universe for about a hundred years. Just as the fetus is ignorant of the world outside the womb, people living in the earthly world today are ignorant of the reality of the incorporeal world that comes after death.

We have only a vague sense that a world after death may exist, just as we did not know about the human world while in our mother’s womb. However, the spirit world exists in reality, regardless of our beliefs or feelings about it. Because the world after death cannot be perceived by our five physical senses, we must overcome our disbelief through religious faith.

There are three stages of our life course as human beings: the water stage, the land stage and the air stage. Everything, even the animals, exists in the realm of these three stages. In order to stand as the lords of creation and be qualified to have dominion over all other creatures, we must go through these three stages—in water, on land and in the air—in a more complete form than any other being, to prove ourselves superior to all other creatures. So we must go through an air stage.

However, we have no wings. How can we fly without wings? We ought to be able to fly higher and farther than any bird or insect. Then what can we do? This cannot happen in our physical body. No matter how high we may try to jump, it is no use.

Because human beings are the lords of creation, and because God is a spiritual being, we must have the same stage of operation as God if we are to stand in a realm of dominion in a reciprocal relationship with Him.

Today people speak of the speed of electricity or light, and we know that the speed of light is three hundred thousand kilometers per second. Human beings, however, are capable of a speed that is even faster. We attain this in the realm of the human spirit.

We live in this world, but it is not everything. There is the spirit world, the place where our spirits are meant to live for eternity. It is an eternal world filled with the air of love. Our physical lives are a time of preparation for entering the eternal world of spirit.
