The Message Is More Important
Than The Messenger
메시지는 메신저 보다 더 중요합니다.

“Focusing too much on a particular messenger (spiritual teacher, guru, prophet, speaker, etc.) can be a major distraction on your spiritual path to liberation. It can take away from the importance of the Message that they had imparted.

특정 메신저(영적 스승, 구루, 예언자, 연설자 등)에 너무 집중하는 것은 해방으로 가는 영적 길에 큰 방해가 될 수 있으며 그들이 전한 메시지의 중요성에서 벗어날 수 있습니다.

Always remember, truth cannot be said, it can only be known via direct experience. True spiritual knowledge and wisdom can only serve as a ‘pointer’ in showing the way. It is likened to a finger pointing to the moon. All words about the Truth are only mere fingers pointing to the moon; but do not accept the ‘fingers’ as the moon itself. It is not the finger (teacher) pointing that is important, only where it is pointing to that matters. The moment we start attaching, obsessing, despising or having personal bias to the fingers (teachers), then we have completely missed the point. The fingers were not the point; the point was the moon (Truth). I am only here to deliver a message, it is the message that is most important not the messenger. Can we separate the message from the messenger? 

진리는 말로 할 수 없으며 직접적인 경험을 통해서만 알 수 있다는 사실을 항상 기억하십시오.
진정한 영적 지식과 지혜는 길을 안내하는 '포인터' 역할을 할 수 있을 뿐입니다. 그것은 달을 가리키는 손가락에 비유할 수 있습니다. 진리에 대한 모든 말은 달을 가리키는 손가락일 뿐이지, 그 '손가락'을 달 자체로 받아들이지 마세요.
손가락(가르치는 이)이 가리키는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라 손가락이 가리키는 곳이 중요할 뿐입니다. 손가락(가르치는 이)에 집착하거나 집착하고 경멸하거나 개인적인 편견을 갖기 시작하는 순간, 우리는 요점을 완전히 놓치고 있는 것입니다.
손가락이 요점이 아니라 달(진리)이 요점입니다.
나는 메시지를 전달하기 위해 여기 왔을 뿐이며, 가장 중요한 것은 메신저가 아니라 메시지입니다.
메시지와 메신저를 분리할 수 있을까요?

Ultimately no one can take the credit for any spiritual truths that you have ever read or learned about; for behind the “apparent” layers of our human form is nothing but Pure, Eternal Consciousness Only. One must learn from others (without any clinging or exalting); do not absorb or become their follower. The Message Is Everything.”

궁극적으로 여러분이 읽거나 배운 어떤 영적 진리도 그 누구도 그 공로를 인정받을 수 없습니다. 왜냐하면 우리 인간 형태의 '겉으로 보이는' 층 뒤에는 순수하고 영원한 의식만이 존재할 뿐이기 때문입니다.
집착하거나 높이지 말고 다른 사람에게서 배워야 하며, 그들의 추종자가 되거나 마음을 빼앗겨서는 안 됩니다. 
메시지가 전부입니다.
