[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 잠언 13장 1. 지혜로운 아들은 자기 아버지의 훈계를 들으나 비웃는 자는 책망을 귀담아 듣지     아니하느니라.A wise son [heareth] his fathers instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.2. 사람은 자기 입의 열매로 말미암아 선을 먹으려니와 범죄자들의 혼은 폭력을 먹으리라.A man shall eat good by the fruit of [his] mouth: but the soul of the transgressors [shall eat] violence.3. 자기 입을 지키는 자는 자기 생명을 보호하나 자기 입술을 크게 벌리는 자에게는 멸망이    있으리로다.He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.4. 게으른 자의 혼은 원하여도 아무것도 소유하지 못하나 부지런한 자의 혼은 기름지게     되리로다.The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.5. 의로운 자는 거짓말을 미워하나 사악한 자는 역겨우며 수치에 이르느니라.A righteous [man] hateth lying: but a wicked [man] is loathsome, and cometh to shame.6. 의는 길이 곧바른 자를 보호하나 사악함은 죄인을 뒤엎느니라.Righteousness keepeth [him that is] upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner. 7. 스스로 부한 체하여도 아무것도 없는 자가 있고 스스로 가난한 체하여도 재물이 많은    자가 있느니라.There is that maketh himself rich, yet [hath] nothing: [there is] that maketh himself poor, yet [hath] great riches.8. 사람의 생명의 대속물은 그의 재물이지만 가난한 자는 책망을 듣지 아니하느니라.The ransom of a mans life [are] his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.9. 의로운 자의 빛은 기뻐하나 사악한 자의 등불은 꺼지리라.The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. 10. 오직 교만에 의해서 다툼이 생기나 좋은 충고를 받은 자에게는 지혜가 있느니라.Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised [is] wisdom.11. 헛되이 얻은 재물은 줄어들려니와 수고하여 모으는 자는 재물을 늘리리라.Wealth [gotten] by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. 12. 소망이 늦추어지면 마음을 병들게 하거니와 소원이 이르면 그것은 생명나무니라.Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.13. 누구든지 말씀을 멸시하는 자는 멸망하려니와 명령을 두려워하는 자는 보상을      받으리라.Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. 14. 지혜로운 자의 법은 사망의 올무들에서 벗어나게 하는 생명 샘이니라.The law of the wise [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.15. 선한 명철은 은총을 베푸나 범죄자들의 길은 험하니라.Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors [is] hard.16. 분별 있는 자마다 지식을 가지고 행하거니와 어리석은 자는 자기의 어리석은 짓을      드러내느니라.Every prudent [man] dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open [his] folly. 17. 사악한 사자는 해악에 빠져도 신실한 대사는 건강하게 하느니라.A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador [is] health. 18. 훈계를 거절하는 자에게는 가난과 수치가 있으려니와 책망을 중히 여기는 자는 존경을      받으리라.Poverty and shame [shall be to] him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.19. 혼에게는 성취된 소원이 달거니와 어리석은 자들에게는 악에서 떠나는 것이 가증한       것이니라.The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but [it is] abomination to fools to depart from evil.20. 지혜로운 자들과 함께 걷는 자는 지혜로우려니와 어리석은 자들과 사귀는 자는 멸망을      당하리라.He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 21. 재앙은 죄인들의 뒤를 따르거니와 의로운 자들은 좋은 것으로 보답을 받으리라.Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.22. 선한 사람은 자기 자손의 자손에게 상속 재산을 남기거니와 죄인의 재물은 의인을       위하여 쌓이느니라.A good [man] leaveth an inheritance to his childrens children: and the wealth of the sinner [is] laid up for the just.23. 가난한 자가 경작하는 곳에는 먹을 것이 많거니와 판단이 부족하여 멸망하는 일도       있느니라.Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor: but there is [that is] destroyed for want of judgment.24. 회초리를 아끼는 자는 자기 아들을 미워하거니와 그를 사랑하는 자는 어릴 때에 그를      징계하느니라.He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.25. 의로운 자는 자기 혼이 만족하도록 먹으나 사악한 자의 배는 주리리로다.The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
