Bible Reading - Proverbs 31:21~31

31:21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet(진홍색).

눈이 와도 그녀는 집안 사람들에 대해 두려워하지 않는다. 왜냐하면 집안 사람들이 모두 진홍색 옷을 입고 있기 때문이다.

31:22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen(아마포) and purple(자주색).

그녀는 침대에 덮개를 만들고 고운 아마포와 자주색 옷을 입는다.

31:23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

그녀의 남편은 성 문에서 존경을 받으며, 그 땅의 원로들 중에서 자리를 잡는다.

31:24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes(허리띠).

그녀는 아마포(린넨) 옷을 만들어 팔고, 상인들에게 띠를 공급한다.

31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; 그녀는 힘과 위엄을 갖추고 있으며

she can laugh at the days to come.그녀는 다가오는 날들에 웃을 수 있다.

31:26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

그녀는 지혜롭게 말하고, 그녀의 혀에는 충실한 교훈이 있다.

31:27 She watches over(지켜보다) the affairs(일) of her household 그녀는 집안일을 돌보며

and does not eat the bread of idleness(게으름). 게으름의 빵을 먹지 않는다.

31:28 Her children arise(일어나다) and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:

그녀의 자녀들은 일어나 그녀를 축복하며, 그녀의 남편도 일어나 그녀를 칭찬하여 말하기를

31:29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass(능가하다) them all."

"고귀한 일을 하는 여자는 많지만, 당신은 그 모든 여자를 능가한다."

31:30 Charm(매력) is deceptive(기만적인), and beauty is fleeting(덧없는);

매력은 기만적이고 아름다움은 덧없으나

but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. 여호와를 경외하는 여인은 칭송을 받는다.

31:31 Give her the reward she has earned, 그녀가 얻은 보상을 그녀에게 주어라.

and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

그녀의 행위가 성문에서 그녀에게 칭찬을 가져오게 하라.
