in a style that shows off your unique charm.

You can also drqw illustrations or shadows

to add detail.

It's a good way to distract yourself.

More and more people are picking up calligraphy

as a hobby these days.

Many people also do it for a living.

I often practice calligraphy with my dad these days.

I first got into it when I saw my grandmother's

calligraphy at her place.

I tried it for the first time with my grandmother

that very day, and I have been hooked ever since.

At stationery stores, you can find calligraphy books

and purpose-made brush pens.

In calligraphy, controlling the way you apply pressure

is most important.

You can ease up to draw thin lines,

and press down hard for thicker ones.

캘리그래피는 붓,특수펜 혹은 전용 붓펜으로 

예쁜 손글씨를 쓰는 행위이다. 

자신만의 서체로 자신만의 매력을 뽐낼 수있고 

자신만의 멋을 더하기 위해 그림이나 그림자를 

그릴 수도 있다.

- Calligraphy is the act of producing beautiful 

  handwriting using a brush, a special pen 

  or purpose brush pens. 

  You can show off you unique charm in a style 

  of your own. 

  You can also draw illustrations or shadows 

  to add personal flair.

+ handwriting : 손글씨

+ purpose-made : 전용으로 제작된

+ show off : 뽐내다,과시하다

+ in a style : ~의 서체로

+ illustration : 그림

+ personal flair : 자신만의 멋

캘리그래피는 머리가 복잡할 때, 머리 식히기에 딱인 예술이다. 

세상에 단 하나밖에 없는 나만의 글씨체를 만들수 있다. 

붓펜이나 다른 필기도구로 여러 가지 서체를 만들어 낼 수도 있다.
