마카베오기 상권 5장26절_30절

[세실리아]

26 큰 요새 성읍들인 보소라,보소르,알레마,카스포,마켓,카르나임에 동포들이 많이 갇혀있고,

27 길앗의 나머지 성읍들에도 더러 갇혀 있다는 것이었다.그리고 적들은 그 이튿날 요새들을

    공격하여 점령하고 단 하루에 이들을 모두 없애 버리기로 하였다는 것이다.

28 그러자 유다와 그의 군대는 재빨리 방향을 돌려,광야를 가로질러 보소라로 가서 그 성읍을

    점령하였다.거기에서 그는 남자들을 모조리 칼로 쳐 죽이고 전리품을 모두 거둔 다음에 그

    성읍을 불태워 버렸다.

29 그러고 나서 밤중에 군대를 이끌고 그곳을 떠나 다테마 요새에 이르는 곳까지 갔다.

30 그들이 아침에 눈을 들어 보니,수없이 많은 무리가 요새를 점령하려고 사다리와 공격 기구를

    들고 쳐들어가는 것이었다.

26. and that many of them were trapped in Bozrah andBosor, and Alema, and in Chaspho, and Maked, amd Carnaim. All these are large and fortified cities.
27. Moreover, they were held in their grasp in the other cities of Gilead, and they had arranged to move their army, on the next day, to these cities, and to seize them, and to destroy them all in one day.
28. Then Judas and his army unexpectedly turned their path into the desert, to Bosor, and they occupied the city. And he killed every male by the edge of the sword, and took all their spoils, and burned it with fire.

29. And they arose from there by night,and they sent forth all the way to the fortress.
30. And ti happened that, at first light, when they lifted up their eyes, behold, there was a multitude of people, which could mot be numbered, briging ladders and machines, 8in order to seize the fortress, and to assault them.
