3. 새로운 종교와 새로운 본체론

새로운 종교를 위한 새로운 본체론은 종래의 모든 절대자들이 별개의 신이 아니라 동일한 하나의 신임을 밝혀야 됩니다. 동시에 그 신들 속성의 일부를 파악한 것이 각 종교의 신관이었음과 그 신의 전모를 옳게 파악하여 모든 종교는 하나의 하나님으로부터 세워진 형제적 종교임을 밝힐 수 있어야 합니다. 이뿐만 아니라 그 본체론은 하나님의 속성과 함께 창조 동기와 창조목적과 법칙을 밝혀서 그 목적과 법칙이 우주만물의 운동을 지배하고 있다는 것과 인간이 지켜야 할 규범도 이 우주의 법칙, 즉 천도와 일치함을 해명해야 할 것입니다.

일월성신의 창조 법칙, 즉 천도에 의하여 종적 질서의 체계를 이루고 있는 것과 같이 가정에 있어서도 조부모와 부모와 자녀로 이루어지는 종적 질서와 형제자매로 이루어지는 횡적 질서의 체계가 세워지는 동시에 상응하는 가치관, 즉 규범이 성립됨을 밝혀야 할 것입니다. 더 나아가서 이 본체론은 그 이론 전개가 자연과학적 지식과도 모순되지 말아야 하며, 인간 양심의 판단에 의해서도 수긍되어야 합니다.

그리고 더 나아가서 역사 속에 ‘역천자(逆天者)는 망(亡)하고 순천자(順天者)는 존(存)한다.’라는 명제가 적용되어 왔음이 증명되어야 합니다. 이러한 본체론에 의해서 세워지는 가치관이야말로 참의미의 절대적 가치관이며 이러한 가치관의 확립과 그 절대가치(절대진·절대선·절대미)를 이해하고 실천함으로써 인류의 정신개혁이 이루어지는 동시에 세계의 혼란은 점차로 사라지게 될 것입니다.

새로운 본체론에 의하여 신에 관한 모든 것이 해명이 되고 모든 종교의 신이 결국 유일한 절대신으로서 모두가 동일한 하나의 신임이 밝혀지면 모든 종교는 각자의 간판을 그대로 유지하면서도 실질적인 종교통일이 이루어져서 하나님의 창조이상인 지상천국을 실현하는 데 공동보조를 취하게 될 것입니다. 그리고 모든 종교 교리의 미비점, 미해결점이 새로운 본체론에 의하여 보완되어서 실질적인 교리의 일치화까지도 실현될 것입니다. 이리하여 모든 종교는 하나님이 그 종교를 세우신 목적을 완전히 달성하기에 이르게 될 것입니다.

이상과 같이 오늘의 세계적인 대혼란을 수습할 수 있는 절대적 가치관에 관한 제 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 새로운 종교로서 등장한 것이 통일교회이며, 그 내용은 광범하고 이론적이어서 지성인들까지도 세뇌한다고 하는 유명한 통일원리와 통일사상인 것입니다. 금번 회의에 참석하신 여러분의 절대가치에 대한 꾸준한 노력과 연구가 절대가치에 대해 깊어지기를 바라며, 신의 가호가 함께하기를 빌어 마지않습니다. 감사합니다.

第8章 絶対的価値観

3. 新しい宗教と新しい本体論
 
新しい宗教のための新しい本体論は、従来の各宗教において絶対者とされていたものが、各々別個の神様ではなく、同じ一つの神様であるということを明らかにしなければなりません。それと同時に、その神様の属性の別な部分をそれぞれ把握したのが各宗教の神観だったことと、その神様の全貌を正しく把握して、すべての宗教は唯一の神から立てられた兄弟的宗教であるということを明らかにしなければなりません。それだけでなく、その本体論は、神様の属性と共に創造の動機と創造の目的とその法則を明らかにし、その目的と法則が宇宙の万物の運動を支配していることと、人間の守るべき規範も、この宇宙の法則、すなわち天道と一致することを解明しなければならないのです。

日月星辰の創造の法則、すなわち天道によって縦的秩序の体系が形成されているのと同じように、家庭においても、祖父母、父母、子女によって形成される縦的秩序と兄弟姉妹によって形成される横的秩序の体系が立てられると同時に、相応する価値観、すなわち規範が成立していることを明らかにしなければなりません。さらにこの本体論は、その理論展開が自然科学的知識とも矛盾してはならず、人間の良心の判断によっても納得できなければなりません。
 
そして、さらに歴史の中で「天に順（したが）う者は存し、天に逆らう者は亡ぶ」という命題が適用されてきたことが証明されなければなりません。そのような本体論によって立てられる価値観こそが、真の美の絶対的価値観であり、このような価値観の確立とその絶対価値（絶対真、絶対善、絶対美）を理解し、実践することによって、人類の精神改革が成し遂げられると同時に、世界の混乱は次第に消えていくでしょう。
 
新しい本体論によって、神様に関するすべてのことが解明され、すべての宗教の神様が、結局、唯一の絶対神として、すべて同じ一つの神であることが明らかにされれば、すべての宗教は、各自の看板をそのまま維持しながらも、実質的な宗教の統一が成し遂げられ、神様の創造理想である地上天国の実現に向けて共同歩調を取るようになるでしょう。そして、すべての宗教の教理における不備な点、未解決な点が新しい本体論によって補完され、実質的な教理の一致化までも実現されるでしょう。かくしてすべての宗教は、神様が宗教を立てられた目的を完全に達成するようになるのです。
 
以上のように、今日の世界的な大混乱を収拾することができる絶対的価値観に関するもろもろの問題点を解決するために、新しい宗教として登場したのが統一教会であり、その内容は、広範で、理論的で、有識者までも洗脳すると言われている、かの有名な「統一原理」と「統一思想」なのです。今回の会議に参加された皆様の絶対価値に対する、たゆまぬ努力と研究がより深まることを願い、神様の加護が共にあることを祈ってやみません。ありがとうございました。

CHAPTER 8. Absolute Value Perspective

3. A new religion and a new ontology
The ontology of the new religion needs to make it clear that the Absolute Beings of the various religions are not separate gods but are one and the same God. Since each religion has revealed only a part of God, making that part its religious perspective, the new ontology should make it clear that a complete revelation of God will show that all religions originated from the same God and pursue the same purposes, being like brothers.

Furthermore, by explaining God’s characteristics, His motivation for creating, and the purpose and rules of creation, the new ontology needs to explain that purpose and law control the motion of all things in the universe. In addition, it has to show that the norms by which we humans should live spring from that same purpose and law, namely, the heavenly way.

The relationships between the sun, moon, planets and stars involve heavenly patterns of vertical and horizontal interactions. Likewise, in the family there are vertical relationships, such as between grandparents, parents and children, and there are horizontal relationships, such as between brothers and sisters. There are value perspectives corresponding to each of these relationships.

In explaining things, this new ontology should not contradict the knowledge that has become available through the natural sciences. At the same time, it needs to be in accord with the human conscience, and it needs to be in resonance with historical maxims such as, “Those who follow the heavenly way prosper, and those who go against it perish.”

The value perspective established through the new ontology is in the truest sense the absolute value perspective. By establishing, understanding and practicing absolute love, absolute truth, absolute goodness and absolute beauty, a new reformation of the human spirit will be accomplished and the confusion of the world will be dispelled.

After the new ontology clarifies our understanding of God, and after it is shown that there is one unique God common to all religions, each religion can retain its own name. In effect, however, the unity of all religions will have been accomplished, and all will be able to move forward together for the realization of heaven on earth, which is God’s ideal of creation.

The new ontology will remedy all the deficiencies and unresolved issues in religious doctrines, and that will eventually lead to the unity of all doctrines. In this manner, all religions will perfectly attain God’s very goal or purpose for establishing religions on earth.

The Unification Church has emerged to solve various problems by presenting the absolute value perspective. This value perspective can resolve the great confusion in the world. The Unification Church offers a comprehensive, logical and reasonable system of thought. Its teachings, known as the Unification Principle and Unification Thought, have the power to engender complete spiritual awakening in all people of conscience and intellect.
