Luke 5:1~11

1 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.

2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.

3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”

5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.

7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”

9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken

10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.”

11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

어느 날 예수님께서 겐나사렛 호숫가에 서 계실 때, 사람들이 예수님 주위에 모여 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 있었습니다.

그는 물가에서 어부들이 그물을 씻고 있는 두 척의 배를 보았다.

3 그는 시몬이 소유한 배 중 하나에 올라타서 해안에서 조금 꺼내달라고 요청했습니다. 그런 다음 그는 앉아서 배에서 사람들을 가르쳤습니다.

4 말을 마친 후 그는 사이먼에게 "깊은 물에 넣고 그물을 내려 잡으세요"라고 말했습니다

5 사이먼이 대답했습니다. "주인님, 밤새도록 열심히 일했지만 아무것도 잡지 못했습니다. 하지만 그렇게 말씀하셨으니 그물을 내려놓겠습니다."

그들이 그렇게 했을 때, 그들은 너무 많은 물고기를 잡아서 그물이 깨지기 시작했다.

그래서 그들은 다른 배에 탄 파트너들에게 와서 도와달라고 신호를 보냈고, 두 배를 너무 가득 채워 침몰하기 시작했습니다.

8 시몬 베드로는 이것을 보고 예수님의 무릎을 꿇고 말했습니다. "주님, 저를 떠나세요; 저는 죄 많은 사람입니다!"

그와 그의 모든 동료들은 그들이 잡은 물고기의 어획량에 놀랐기 때문입니다

10명과 시몬의 파트너인 제베디의 아들인 제임스와 요한도 마찬가지였습니다. 그러자 예수님은 시몬에게 말씀하셨습니다. "두려워하지 마세요. 이제부터 당신은 사람들을 위해 낚시를 할 것입니다."

11 그래서 그들은 배를 해안으로 끌어올리고 모든 것을 떠나 그를 따라갔습니다.)
