 Minutes of the meeting of 3/31    

  We had 16 English talkaholics, me, Jay, 지은, Alyssa, Kevin, James, Sancho, Sean, Rich, Andy, Danny, 석준, Wassup, JK, Stella, Rachel.

   Every single member got so heated during the debate in each group, I saw them a bit blushed with excitements. It seemed literally BLOODY debate over the issure 'the limitation of SSMs business hours to protect mom and pop stores', went like communism vs capitalism?ㅎㅎ Thank god we didn't go violent as we all are fine and discent members, but it was bloody hot!!!

   Everytime when I prepare the debate topic, I get excited thinking how brilliant ideas our members would bring in, and last time it just went beyond my expectation!

   It was such an enjoyable moment, and isn't it fabulous it's happening evey Saturday?ㅎㅎ

   A group of memebers went to have a lunch together and 지은, 석준, Andy, Alyssa, Rachel and I headed to grab a coffee continuing hilarious conversations.

   Thank you for all your enthusiasm and hope to see you all next! :)

  Itinerary (every Saturday afternoon)

<PART1>

  11:00 ~ 11:30  Introduction and grouping.  Each group will consist of no more than four English Talkaholics

  11:30 ~ 12:30  Each English Talkaholic to present their article, and have a discussion

  12:30 ~ 12:40  Time for a break!

<PART2>

  12:40 ~ 13:00  Time for Vocabulary check relating to the debate topic (in two opposing subgroups)

  13:00 ~ 13:20  Each subgroup to prepare for battle, i.e. build up their strategy for a debate

  13:20 ~ 13:50  Let the fun begin - time for a bloody debate between the subgroups!!

  13:50 ~ 14:00  Final comments by each member

  14:00 ~             Dealing with the aftermath - time for coffee and/or alcohol to unwind and relax 

 What you have to do before taking part in the study?

  Prepare one article together with one issue that you wish to discuss in relation to the article. 

     It doesn't matter what the article is about as long as it is in English. It is as simple as that!  Whatever you want to talk about, find one English on it and share it with us.

   We will discuss on it in the first class.

 Prepare for debate topic and check the vocabularies.

    Decide which side you'll be on and prepare your reasoning and cases.  

    Decide which side of the debate your views lie in preparation for the bloody debate!!  The more prepared you are beforehand, the greater your chance of winning the debate!

 Please be on time.

   Due to the nature of this group, PUNCTUALITY MATTERS.  The late arrival may mean a group may consist of more than four people, in which case an hour will not be sufficient to complete the discussion within an hour.  So, please be on time and If you're late, please join during the break.
