Let me introduce this lovely gentle dog Groo, who has such a beautiful smile😍
Groo looks like a handsome Jindo, but she actually is a princess🤣🤣
We assume Groo has some trauma with people before since she’s still bit scared of them. However her current foster parents are taking really good care of her, and now she has gotten so much better and she even comes out and welcome her foster parents with a beautiful smile on her face when they come home❤️
Groo got so much more active and lovable than before we posted her adoption post. She’s such a gentle doggy who hardly barks and has zero aggression🥰
We are looking for a pawever family who would give Groo lots of love for the rest of her life.
🧡 Name: Groo
🌷Age: 3 years
🌷Sex: Female (Spayed)
🌷Weight: 16kg
🌷Breed: Jindo Mix
🍀Getting used to strangers or new environments:
👉 It takes about 3 months for Groo to get used to new people or places.
🍀Sociability with people:
👉 She’s still scared of people and usually spends most of her time at the corner in the house. However she just sits and wait at the door when I’m about to walk her outside.
🍀Reaction to Children:
👉 Doesn’t react in any particular way.
🍀Reaction to other dogs:
👉 For the first month, Groo growls at other dogs visiting us, but she adjusts to other dogs after a couple months.
🍀Reaction to cats:
👉 Groo whines and seems like she wants to chase them.
🍀Barking Issues:
👉 I’ve never heard Groo barking while I’m fostering her. However, Groo sometimes whines when she wants to walk outside.
🍀Aggression or Biting Issues/Habits:
👉At first, I growled because I was scared when people approached me, but now I smile and act cute
🍀How does she react when you are around her while she’s eating or when you steal her food or her toy? Is she aggressive or does she growl at other dogs?
👉 None
🍀Coprophagis (eating feces):
👉 None
🍀Sleeping Preferences:
👉 For the first two months, she slept on her pad at the corner. She still sleeps on the corner but in the room where people are sleeping.
🍀Potty-Training:
👉 Groo can use indoor pee-pad, however since she started walking outside, she only uses the outdoor bathroom.
🍀Marking:
👉 None
🍀Playing with Toys:
👉 She likes to play with nose-work toys.
🍀Separation Anxiety:
👉 None
🍀Walking outside/Harness issues:
👉 Groo wears both her harness and collar when she walks outside. In the beginning she was scared to wear those, but 3 month later she is now sitting and waiting, and will stick her head out to put it on.
🍀Does she recognize her name? Does she come to you when you call her outside?:
👉 Groo recognizes her name but she doesn’t come to me when I call her outside.
🍀Car-Training:
👉 Groo only has ridden in the car when she got here before, and she had a carsickness.
🍀Things of note for interested Families:
👉 Groo takes some time to trust people but she has zero aggression and is simply just scared. Once she trusts you, you’ll see that she’s just so gentle and lovable.
🍀Ideal Family:
👉 A family who would be patient with Groo to trust them. I think a family where all members are adults would be best for her. (It doesn’t mean Groo has any particular issues with children but she’s just still bit scared of sudden movements or noise around her.)
