여호수아22:1-9 명령과 율법을 행하여

이때 여호수아는 요단 동 편에서 전쟁에 참여한 두 지파 반을 그들의 거처로 돌려보내기 위해 소집해 노고를 치하하고 모세가 명령한 것을 다 지킨 것을 칭찬하는구나. 예공, 두 지파 반이 요단 동 편의 비옥한 땅을 요구했을 때만 하더라도 위험한 서 편 땅을 외면한 채 자신들만 편안하게 좋은 땅을 가져가려는 듯 이기적으로 보았는데 그들은 자신들이 맹세한 대로 서편 땅을 다 차지할 때까지 그 땅을 누리지 않았다. 전쟁의 선두에 서서 여호와의 명령에 끝까지 순종 했어.

형제들이 안식을 누리기 전까지 자신들도 안식을 누리지 않은 거야. 이제 동편 두 지파 반의 책임 있는 태도로 서편의 동족들에게 안식의 시대가 왔다. 여호수아는 두 지파 반이 동편 땅으로 떠날 수 있게 해주었다. 여호수아가 그들에게 전한 당부와 축복의 말씀은 그들이 서편에서 누린 안식을 동편에서도 누리려면 여호와의 명령과 율법을 지켜 여호와만 사랑하고 마음과 성품을 다하여 여호와를 섬겨야 한다고 하는구나. 안식은 비옥한 땅이 주는 것이 나니라 순종이 안식을 주기 때문일 것이다.

Joshua went on to give the Manazae tribes their enterprise in the east and west of Jordan. They send them lots of wealth, lots of livestock, lots of silver, gold, copper, iron, and clothing. I did not mention it, but other tribes would also have given away what they had fought for and seized. Look at the generosity of the Western tribes. Instead of asking them to be content with their land of fertility on the east side, they are sharing what they have been doing by risking their lives.

말씀하신대로 12지파에게 땅을 분배해 주시고 안식을 주신 것을 감사하나이다. 여호수아가 당부한대로 모세가 명한 명령과 율법을 행하여(5a) 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고(5b)그 모든 길로 행하며 그 계명을 지켜 그에게 친근히 하고(5c)마음을 다하며 성품을 다하여 하나님을 섬기게 하옵소서.

Thank you for allocating the land to the 12 tribes and giving them rest as you said. Do the orders and laws that Moses ordered (5a) and love the Lord God (5b) and keep the commandments in all their ways (5c) and serve him with all your heart and all your character.
