데살로니가전서4장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 데살로니가전서4장

1. 그러므로 또한 형제들아, 우리가 [주] 예수님을 힘입어 너희에게 간청하고 권면하노니 너희가 마땅히 어떻게 걸으며

    [하나님]을 기쁘게 할 수 있는지 우리에게서 받았은즉 그대로 더욱더 넘치게 하라.

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort [you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, [so] ye would abound more and more. 

2. 우리가 [주] 예수님을 힘입어 너희에게 무슨 명령들을 주었는지 너희가 아느니라.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

3. [하나님]의 뜻은 이것이니 곧 너희가 거룩히 구별되는 것이라. 너희는 음행을 삼가고

For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

4. 너희 각 사람이 거룩히 구별함과 존귀함으로 자기 그릇을 소유할 줄 알되

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

5. [하나님]을 알지 못하는 이방인들과 같이 욕정의 욕망으로 하지 말고

Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

6. 아무도 어떤 일에서든 도를 넘어 자기 형제를 속여 빼앗지 말라. 우리가 또한 너희에게 미리 경고하고 증언한 것

    같이 [주]께서 그런 모든 자들에게 복수하시느니라.

That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 

7. [하나님]께서 우리를 부정함에 이르도록 부르지 아니하시고 거룩함에 이르도록 부르셨나니

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

8. 그러므로 멸시하는 자는 사람을 멸시하지 아니하고 우리에게 자신의 거룩한 [영]을 주신 [하나님]을 멸시하느니라.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. 

9. 그러나 형제의 사랑에 관하여는 내가 너희에게 쓸 필요가 없나니 너희 스스로 [하나님]에게서 가르침을 받아 서로

    사랑하느니라.

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

10. 참으로 너희가 온 마케도니아의 모든 형제들을 향해 그 일을 행하는도다. 그러나 형제들아, 우리가 너희에게 간청

      하노니 너희는 더욱더 많이 하고

And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

11. 또 우리가 너희에게 명령한 것 같이 조용히 지내며 너희 일을 하고 너희 손으로 일하기를 힘쓰라.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12. 이것은 너희가 밖에 있는 자들을 향해 정직하게 걷게 하려 함이요, 또 너희에게 어떤 것도 부족하지 아니하게 하려

      함이라.

That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing. 

13. 그러나 형제들아, 잠자는 자들에 관하여 너희가 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니 이것은 너희가 아무 소망 없는

      다른 사람들 같이 슬퍼하지 아니하게 하려 함이라.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14. 우리가 예수님께서 죽으셨다가 다시 일어나셨음을 믿을진대 그와 같이 예수님 안에서 잠자는 자들도 [하나님]께서

      그분과 함께 데려오시리라.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15. 우리가 [주]의 말씀으로 너희에게 이것을 말하노니 [주]께서 오실 때까지 살아서 남아 있는 우리가 결코 잠자는

      자들보다 앞서지 못하리라.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 

16. [주]께서 호령과 천사장의 음성과 [하나님]의 나팔 소리와 함께 친히 하늘로부터 내려오시리니 그리스도 안에서

      죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. 그 뒤에 살아서 남아 있는 우리가 그들과 함께 구름들 속으로 채여 올라가 공중에서 [주]를 만나리라.

      그리하여 우리가 항상 [주]와 함께 있으리라.

Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18. 그러므로 이 말씀들로 서로 위로하라.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
