Kent: Maybe you‘re right but I just can’t help myself.
켄트: 네 말이 맞을 지도 모르지만 자신감이 드는 걸 어떡해.

Jane: We all better hope that whoever is elected they can solve all the problems the country has.
제인: 우리 모두 누가 당선되든 국가적 난제를 모두 풀기를 바라는 게 좋을 것 같다.

Kent: That is very true.

*stand a chance: 승산이 있다. 가능성이 있다.
“I thought the Dodgers stood a chance to win The World Series but I was wrong.” (월드 시리즈에서 다저스가 승산이 있다고 생각했는데 내가 틀렸어.)

*have a long way to go: 갈 길이 멀다. 아직 멀었다.
“I have a long way to go to be happy with my life.” (내가 만족할 만큼 살려면 아직 멀었어.)

*false hope(s): 헛된 희망.
