We must be ware of the Past, mustn’t we?

I mean that [any fixing of the mind on old evils /beyond what is absolutely necessary

/for repenting our own sins and forgiving those of others] is certainly useless and usually bad for us. 

* ware /archaic 고어 /adjective: ware = aware 

* to be aware : having or showing realization, perception, or knowledge.

* 되새김이란 지난 일을 회상하여 계속 생각하는 것을 의미하는데 실수를 통해 깨달은 걸 오늘에 적용한다면 몰라도

후회나 회한으로 지난 일을 씹고 또 씹는다면 나올 건 쓰디쓴 쓸개 같은 쓴 뿌리라 현재는 물론 미래도 망치게 된다

우리는 낡은 껍질/옛사람을 끊임없이 벗겨내기를 더욱더 열성적으로 고대해야 합니다

여기서 비유가 좀 혼란되긴 했지만 내가 의미하는 그것을 당신은 알 겁니다

* 헌 옷/옛사람을 벗고 새 옷/새 사람을 입으라고 성경은 말하는데 새 옷을 입었는가 싶은데 금방 벗어 재끼고

헌 옷으로 갈아입고 옛사람의 말과 행동을 부담 없이 하는 건 개가 토한 것을 다시 먹는 거라 다시 벗고 씻고

새 옷으로 갈아입어야 심령이 새롭게 되어서 더러운 걸 만지기조차 혐오하고 두려워서 구원이 지속보존되나

기만의 두께나 깊이가 측량불가인 옛 껍질이 겹겹이 쌓여 끊임없이 벗기고 부인해야니 혼란스러운 옛놈이다
