DT 드러머가 Led zeppelin 트리뷰트 밴드와 연주예정 (2003. 7. 24) 비틀즈 트리뷰트 밴드인 Yellow Matter custard가 크게 성공한 후 DT의 드러머인 MP는 11월에 몬트리올 드럼 페스트에서 그의 차례에 또 다른 특별한 일회성 트리뷰트 프로젝트에 참가해 줄 것을 제의받았다... 포트노이의 레드 제플린 트리뷰트 밴드인 Hammer of the Gods는 기타에 폴 길버트(레이서 X, 전 Mr.Big), 베이스에 데이브 라루에(Dixie Dregs, Planet X), 그리고 보컬에 다니엘 길덴로우(POS)가 또 다시 참여할 예정이다... 오직 한번뿐일 이 특별한 프로젝트는 몬트리올 드럼 페스티벌에서 11월 7일에 열릴것이며 그 주중에 조금 일찍 공식적인 "몸풀기" 공연이 있을 수도 있다... 더 자세한 사항은 추후 공개!!!! ================================================================= DREAM THEATER Drummer To Perform With LED ZEPPELIN Tribute Band - July 24, 2003 After the great success of his BEATLES tribute band YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD, DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has been asked to assemble another special one-off tribute project for his appearance at the Montreal Drum Fest in November. Portnoy's LED ZEPPELIN tribute band HAMMER OF THE GODS will once again feature Paul Gilbert (RACER X/ex-MR.BIG) on guitar, as well as Dave LaRue (DIXIE DREGS, PLANET X) on bass and Daniel Gildenl&ouml;w (PAIN OF SALVATION) on vocals. This special one-time-only project will appear on Friday, November 7 at the Montreal Drum Festival, with a possible "warm-up" gig to the general public earlier in the week.
