🌹일생동안 만나는 세가지 사랑(Three Loves You Meet Throughout Your Life) 🌹

[멋쟁이 신사(華谷)ㆍ公認 孝菴 大法]

사람이 살면서 일생동안 느끼는 사랑은
세가지로 종합해 볼수있다.(The love that a person feels throughout his or her life can be summed up in three ways.)

우선, 멀리 여행을 떠나는 당신을 배웅해주는 세사람이 있다고 가정해 보라. (First, suppose you have three people to see you off on a trip far away.)

첫번째 사람은
아침부터 당신에게 달려와 울며불며 가지 말라하고 손을 붙들고 보고싶을 거라 며 몹시 안타가워 한다.(The first person runs to you from the morning and cries and says, "Don't go," and "I'm going to hold my hand and miss you.")

그러나 막상 떠나려고하자 문앞가지만 배웅하고는 곧장 자신이 좋아하는 프로 그램을 보기위해 TV를 켠다.(However, when he was about to leave, he went to the door and saw him off, and turned on the TV to watch his favorite program.)

두번째 사람은
당신을 위해 아침을 준비하고, 짐을 들어준다.(The second person prepares breakfast for you and carries your luggage.)

공항까지 배웅하며 잘 다녀오라는 인사를 건네고는 발걸음을 돌려 직장으로 간 다.(After seeing him off to the airport and saying good-bye, he turns to work.)

세번째 사람은
그저 묵묵히 먼 발치에서 당신의 뒷 모습을 바라본다.(The third person just silently looks at your back from a distant foot.)

당신은 그가 그자리에 있는지조차 알지 못하지만 그는 항상 당신을 그리워하고 걱정한다.(You don't even know if he's there, but he always misses you and worries about you.)

여행에서 돌아온 당신은
첫번째 사람에게 멋진 선물을 사다주고
그와 함께 밥을 먹고, 놀이공원에 간다.
당신은 그와 함께 있는것만으로도 행복하다.(Back from the trip, you buy a nice gift for the first person, eat with him, and go to an amusement park. You are happy just to be with him.)

그리고 두번째 사람을 만나면 포응을 하고, 그의 손에 있는 짐을 나눠들고 그가 회사에서 실적을 올린 일을 축하해주며,
그가 옆에 있어주는 사실을 크나큰 행운으로 생각한다.(And when I meet the second person, I give a roar, Sharing the burden in his hands, congratulating him on his performance at the company, The fact that he is next to me is considered a great luck.)

마지막으로 세번째 사람을 만나면 조용 히 미소만 지을뿐 마땅히 할말을 찾지 못한다.(Finally, when I meet the third person, I only smile quietly and can't find what to say.)

이번에는 당신이 그들을 차례로 잃었을때 상황이다.(This time it's the situation when you lose them one after another.)

첫번째 사람을 잃으면 당신은 한동안 인 생의 낙을 잃은듯 침울해 하다가 얼마  지나지 않아, 곧 어디선가 비추는 한줄 기 빛을 발견하고 새로운 여정을 시작 한다.(If you lose the first person, you'll be depressed for a while as if you've lost the joy of your life, but not long after, Soon, he finds a ray of light somewhere and starts a new journey.)

두번째 사람을 잃으면 당신은 든든한  어깨를 잃은듯 낙담(落膽, dejected) 하지만 이 또한 얼마 지나지 않아 극복 (克復, get over)한다.(If you lose a second person, you are discouraged as if you lost a strong shoulder, but you also overcome it soon after.)

세번째 사람을 잃으면 처음에는 무감각 (無感覺, numb) 하다가 어느날 문득 그를 잃은 날부터 당신의 영혼(靈魂, spirit)이 방황(彷徨, wandering)하 기 시작했으며,(If you lose a third person, you will be numb at first, and then one day your soul will start to wander from the day you lose him,)

가슴속에서 영원(永遠, immortality)  히 채워지지 않을 공백(空白, vacuum) 이 생겼다는 사실을  깨닫는다.(I realize that there is a gap in my heart that will never be filled.)

첫번째 사람이 준것은 언어이고
두번째 사람이 준것은 시간이고
세번째 사람이 준것은 생명이다.(The first person gave language, the second person gave time, and the third person gave life.)

첫번째 사람은 자녀(子女), 풋사랑이다.
두번째 사람은 친구(親舊), 중년(中年) 의 사랑이다.
세번째 사람은 부모(父母), 반려자(伴侶者), 영원(永遠)의 사랑이다.(The first person is a child, a young love. The second person is a friend, middle-aged love. The third person is a parent, a partner, and an eternal love.)

이 세가지 사랑중에 무엇이 더 아름답 고 소중(所重, important)한 것인지 는 따질수 없다.(I can't decide which of these three love is more beautiful and precious.)

세가지 모두 우리에게 반드시 필요한 것 이기 때문이다.(Because all three are essential to us.)
