One day(,) Caillou's sister was born.

Since Caillou's sister was born, Caillou's parents (are) were not interested in Caillou, so Caillou was annoyed.

So Caillou pinched his sister when his dad went to get his (earbuds) earplugs.

(Caillou's sister got better after listening to his dad.) Caillou's sister stopped crying after his dad comforted her.

(So) Caillou helped his dad and changed his sister's diapers, too.
