You Will Know That It Was The Lord(Exodus 16:1~12)
“I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, ‘At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.’”(12)
Hymn #73 Unto the Hills Around Do I Lift Up(Unified Hymn 73)
When you face hardships, illnesses, or poverty, what should you do? Statistics show that whether in developed or developing countries, 10% of people live comfortably, while 90% struggle. Among them, 50% work diligently and 40% have given up. In today’s main scriptures, the Israelites complained again on their journey through the wilderness. They said, “Did we not eat well by the meat pots in Egypt? We were full then. It would have been better if we had died there.” Like so, what kind of answers must you receive when you face difficulties?
1. Restore the Promise
God had already prepared everything and made all promises when He called you. “I have seen the suffering of my people and will bring them out to offer sacrifices.”(Exodus 3:7~20) “I have given you and your descendants the land of Canaan forever.” (Joshua 1:3, Genesis 13:14~18) “Take your staff and go before Pharaoh.”(Exodus 4:1~23) Yet, when you fall into unbelief and complaints, your spiritual eyes will dim while your physical eyes will brighten. God always fulfills His promises. Therefore, the more difficulties you face, the more you must restore these promises.
2. Find the Prepared Things
Joseph faced great hardships, yet through Potiphar, his brothers, and Pharaoh, he became a witness that the Lord was with him. God allowed passage through the wilderness to show evidence of His presence. Just as God, who was with Moses, was also with Joshua and Caleb, the covenant you hold onto will be relayed to the posterity as well.
3. Hold Onto the Eternal Things
The 40 years in the wilderness were more than simple suffering. God freed you from darkness and taught a life centered on the Three Feasts, the Ark of the Covenant, and the tabernacle. You must relay these teachings to the posterity, as these covenants become their imprints, roots, and nature.
Thus, the answer you will receive is for you to restore the Three Feasts and restore evangelism through the miracles of the wilderness. Moreover, you must restore the three courtyards, the Three Day Weekend Age, and the holy meditation age centered on the tabernacle.
