2. 사랑은 반드시 상대를 요구

여러분! 사람에게 제일 중요하고 필요한 것은 무엇이겠습니까? 그것은 돈이나 권력 혹은 지식이 아닙니다. 생명보다 귀하고 공기보다 더 필요한 것은 하나님의 참사랑입니다. 참사랑이 우리에게 이처럼 귀하고 중요한 것은 무엇 때문이겠습니까?

인간이 살아가면서 하나님을 보기 원하듯이 하나님도 참된 인간을 보고 싶어하시는 것입니다. 그런데 인간들 중에서도 남자나 여자 어느 한 편을 먼저 보고 싶어하신다면 아마도 서로가 불평할 것입니다. 그러므로 하나님께서는 사랑을 내세우지 않을 수 없습니다. 사랑만 내세우면 남자와 여자가 같이 볼 수 있고, 같이 만질 수 있고, 같이 나눌 수 있기 때문입니다. 세상에서 제일 귀한 것이 있다면 남자와 여자가 서로 먼저 가지려고 다투겠지만, 그것이 사랑이란 것을 알게 되면 둘이 서로 하나되어 위하며 가지려고 하는 것입니다.

이와 같이 사랑은 누구나 좋아할 뿐만 아니라 사랑만이 인간의 욕망을 전부 고르게 충족시킬 수 있다는 원칙이 있기 때문에 하나님의 구원섭리도 가능한 것입니다.

사랑이란 본래 하나님의 것입니다. 그러나 아무리 하나님의 것이라고 해도 하나님 혼자서 가질 수 있는 것이 아닙니다. 사랑은 반드시 상대를 요구하기 마련입니다. 남자 혼자 또는 여자 혼자만 가지고는 사랑이 성립되지 않는 것입니다. 그러니까 남자의 사랑을 위해서 여자가, 여자의 사랑을 위해서 남자가 있다는 말이 됩니다. 못생긴 남자도, 못생긴 여자도 사랑의 대상이 나타나기를 바라는 것입니다. 그것도 가장 높은 사랑의 대상이기를 원합니다.

그러므로 우주의 모든 존재를 보면 다 주체와 대상, 플러스와 마이너스의 쌍쌍으로 돼 있습니다. 광물계·식물계·동물계 그리고 인간세계도 모두 쌍쌍제도로 돼 있는 것입니다. 왜냐하면 모두가 이런 상대관계를 통하여 참사랑을 원하기 때문입니다.

그리고 이 우주 가운데 절대 혼자서는 취할 수 없는 것이 사랑이지만, 반면에 상대가 나타남으로 말미암아 사랑으로 연결된 모든 것을 취하게 되는 것입니다. 마찬가지로 자녀가 없이는 자녀를 사랑할 수 있는 부모의 사랑이 나타나지 않고 자녀에 대한 부모의 사랑의 주인도 되지 못합니다.

그러므로 하나님도 참사랑을 이루기 위하여 그 상대로서 우주와 인간을 창조하신 것입니다. 이처럼 자녀의 사랑이나 형제의 사랑, 부부의 사랑 그리고 부모의 사랑 모두가 주체와 대상이 하나됨으로써 나타나는 것입니다. 주체와 대상으로 하나되면 이들 둘을 가를 수 없습니다. 만일 가른다면 참사랑이 파탄되고 없어지는 것입니다. 그러므로 이혼이라는 개념이 있을 수 없습니다.

第7章 真の愛は誰もが願う

2. 愛は必ず相手を求める

皆様。人間にとって最も重要で必要なものとは何でしょうか。それはお金や権力、あるいは知識ではありません。生命よりも貴く、空気よりも必要なものは、真の愛です。真の愛が、私たちにとってこれほどまでに貴く、重要なのは何のためでしょうか。

人間が生きていく上で、神様に会うことを願うように、神様も真の人間に会いたいとお思いになります。しかし、神様が人間の中でも男性と女性のどちらか一方に先に会いたいとおっしゃるならば、恐らくもう片方が不平を言うでしょう。

ですから神様は、愛を前に立てざるを得ないのです。愛さえ前に立てれば、男性と女性は一緒に会うことができ、一緒に触ることができ、一緒に分かち合うことができるからです。世の中で最も貴いものがあれば、男性と女性は互いに自分のものにしようと争うのですが、それが愛であるということが分かれば、二人は互いに一つになって、互いのために所有しようとするのです。

このように、愛は、誰もが好むということだけではなく、愛のみが人間の欲望をすべて均等に充足させることができるという原則があるので、神様の救援摂理も可能なのです。

愛とは本来、神様のものです。しかし、いくら神様のものだといっても、神様一人では所有できるものではありません。愛は必ず相対を要求するようになっているのです。男性一人、または女性一人だけでは愛は成立しません。ですから、男性の愛のために女性が、女性の愛のために男性がいるということになります。醜い男性も、醜い女性も、愛の対象が現れることを願うのです。それも、最も高い愛の対象であることを願います。

ですから、宇宙のすべての存在を見れば、みな主体と対象、プラスとマイナスのペアになっています。鉱物界、植物界、動物界、そして人間の世界もすベてペア·システムになっているのです。なぜならば、すべてがこのような相対関係を通じて真の愛を願うからです。

そして、この宇宙の中で絶対に一人では所有できないのが愛ですが、反面、相対が現れることによって、愛で連結されたすベてのものを所有するようになるのです。同じように、子女なしでは、子女を愛することのできる父母の愛は現れず、子女に対する父母の愛の主人にもなれないのです。

ですから神様も、真の愛で愛するために、その相対として宇宙と人間を創造されたのです。このように子女の愛や兄弟の愛、夫婦の愛、そして父母の愛のすべてが、主体と対象が一つになることによって現れるのです。主体と対象が一つになれば、これら二つは分けることができません。もし分けるとするならば、真の愛が破壊されるのです。本来、離婚という概念はあり得ないのです。

2. Love absolutely requires counterparts

Ladies and gentlemen, what is the most important thing of all, which we need more than anything else? It is not money, power or knowledge. It is true love. True love is more precious than life itself and as important to us as air or water.

Why is true love so precious and important? It is because it is the means by which we can meet God. Just as human beings desire to meet God, God wants to meet true human beings, all because of love. The love by which God can see, touch and share with men and women is the very love by which men and women love each other.

If anything other than love were to be recognized as the most valuable thing in the universe, men and women would fight each other to claim it for themselves. However, once we realize that it is love that has the highest value, we can strive to live for each other and become one with each other, sharing the happiness of possessing love together.

Everyone desires love. Love is the only thing that can satisfy the highest human desires. And it is humankind’s and God’s undying attraction to love that makes God’s providence of salvation possible.

Fundamentally, love belongs to God. Yet even God cannot fulfill love all by Himself. Love requires a mutual relationship. A man by himself or a woman by herself cannot experience love. Each woman exists for the sake of a man’s love, and each man exists for the sake of a woman’s love. Regardless of external appearance, each of us desires in our heart a mate with whom we can give and receive the highest degree of love.

When we examine the universe, we see that all beings exist in pairs relating to one another as subject partner and object partner. In the mineral world, we observe the relationship between particles with plus and minus charges.

In the plant world, the animal world and the world of human beings, we see the relationship between masculine and feminine aspects. This is because God created the universe in order to fulfill the expression‎‎ of love. All beings desire the experience of true love through a mutual relationship. Love is the one power in the universe that absolutely no one can fulfill alone.

Once we have a partner, however, love gives us the power to share the entire universe. By the same principle, a husband and wife need children in order to experience the profound joy of parental love.

Thus, we can say that God created human beings and the universe as His reciprocal partners in order to realize true love. All types of love including children’s love, siblings’ love, conjugal love and parental love, come about through the unity of subject and object partners.

When two partners become one in true love, it is impossible to separate them. If for any reason separation does occur, true love is destroyed. Therefore, in true love there is no concept of divorce.
