[수정] Teachers should take a class every five years

  There are varied views on whether teachers need to take a class every a few years or not. Some people may say they do not have to take it because they are smart enough to teach; however, others might hold their own opinion against it. In line with this, I shed light on the importance of regular education for teachers for some aspects: being opened for students and able to use effective tools for teaching.

  On one hand, if teachers are not educated regularly, they will not be able to fully communicate with their students because of generation gap. It is probable that many people cast doubt to my opinion, I am pretty sure that a class for teachers really helps for both teachers and their students to overcome generation gap. As a matter of fact, teachers are usually over thirty years old while their students are usually less than twenties. While old teachers prefer a textbook-based style, young students likes to choose a discussion-based one. Therefore, if teachers do not work hard to change their teaching style by taking a class on how to make more exciting class every a few years, not only will students be bored of the old teaching style, but they will also lose highly postivie motivation to study all the time. To say a personal experience, when I was a middle school student, there was an old math teacher. Even though he was very smart, I and my friends did not like his class because he never let us to discuss a lot in class. We were not only bored but also very tired of solving math problems on textbook every day. That is why further education is necessary for not only students, but also their teachers in terms of higher encouragement for studying.

  On the other hand,  if they participate in a class in a regular basis, they will soon be able to utilize tools required to make class more effective and exciting. Some might say it is not realistic; nevertheless, it is not definitely true to me. From my point of view, if teachers continuously get education by taking a class, they will be able to apply fresh tools for teaching, for example, electric blackboard to class in practice. Furthermore, using diverse tools will improve both their knowledge and their score because students can easily concentrate on class materials. According to survey which was conducted in one university in Tokyo several years ago, over than seventy-percent of students and professors found electric blackboard very convenient because they could find important facts in a very short time, using "search" technique. Anytime they needed a special part of the material, they put in the keyword and just pushed "enter" button. Due to the reason that they could reduce time, both students and professors could learn and teach more. Some students even shared a document file for class notes to prepare for the test, and the result was great. This case clearly shows that taking a class is very "effective" for teachers to make more "effective" class.

  To summarize up the points made above, in order to make class more enjoyable and helpful for studying, the need for teachers to learn new teaching styles and tools should be underscored. The more teachers study, the more their students will be stimulated to study harder.

진흠아 몇가지 문법오류와 생활 관습상 어법오류를 제외하곤 좋은 내용의 글이었다. 그러나 내가 요구했던 것은 너의 에세이와 구조상 달랐을 뿐 너의 에세이도 괜찮다. 차차 다양한 구조를 익히자. 그리고 마직막 여운에 선생들의 추가 업데이트 학습이라고 했으면 주제에 부합한 강조 문장이 됐을 것이다. 홧팅
