Jeon Woo Chi
Recently, I'm interested in Korean classics. Between 47 books in Korean classics, I thought Jeon Woo Chi was the funniest book. The reason I picked this book was the funniest book is, basically I like heroic classics very much. The content of this book is, hero named Jeon Woo Chi helping pool residents.
Almost first time Joseon dynasty built, there was one people named Jeon Woo Chi. He seemed very normal person. But he can do magic. He could drag the cloud and use it for his own car, and also he can make up or transform to something.
He wanted to save many Joseon residents that were very poor. At that time, the life of normal residents of Joseon was very poor. They survived by the method of eating the surface of tree. So, now, we are very happy than them. Even the food we don't like come out, those foods will better than those tree surfaces, with horrible flavor.
One day, he transformed into the liege of the Great Jade Emperor, and offered to the king to make golden crossbeam. At next year march 15th, Jeon Woo Chi came back to palace, and offered the golden crossbeam. The golden crossbeam made from residents' gold took by Jeon Woo Chi. He went to Vietnam and sold half of it. So, he could get plenty of rice. And we shared it with Joseon poor residents.
And the government realized that it was the work of Jeon Woo Chi. So they tried to catch Jeon Woo Chi. But, by those times. Jeon Woo Chi did a magic to escape. And he always survived.
One day, he couldn't escape from the death. So, he tried to escape from that place with his brain. He said to king, 'I didn't represented by best magic I studied when I was young. The best magic is drawing the picture, and the animals will move in his picture. When we drew up all of his picture, he jumped into the picture. Suddenly, Jeon Woo Chi went into the picuture.
The horse waiting in the picture carried out Jeon Woo Chi, and suddenly disappeared with him, and few minutes later, he came back to real world. At that time, many thieves were taking out residents' wealth. As I said before, Joseon residents' living was very poor, so Jeon Woo Chi, who tried to help poor people, transformed into the big and strong soldier of government and tried to kill all of them. So, the commander of thief surrendered to Jeon Woo Chi, and he came back to his house.
One day, Jeon Woo Chi's friend asked to Jeon Woo Chi. He said, he had a wife that promised to marry with him, but the wife didn't went to friend's house. So, Jeon Woo Chi tried to carry her to his friend's house. But, suddenly one bagger came out and scolded Jeon Woo Chi. He said the wife friend mentioned was other people with same face. After that event, Jeon Woo Chi realized still there are many stronger people.
Therefore, after that, he met one ascetic, and he went to Baek Doo mountain, which called Tae Baek mountain at that time, to learn more about magic. And after he went into the mountain, no one couldn't see Jeon Woo Chi walking around the world and helping poor residents, and scolding rotted corrupt officials that were taking off residents' properties.
