The Early Church Disaster and World Evangelization(Acts 11:1~18, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 10:4~5)
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me(Galatians 2:20).
Hymn #423 Sins of Years are Wash’d Away(Unified Hymn 213)
What disaster struck the Early Church? It was their failure to bring the Gospel to Rome. Jesus told them to be witnesses to the ends of the earth, yet conflicts and opposition within the church blocked the way. When the Gospel reached Cornelius, a Gentile, arguments broke out inside the church. Each time Paul evangelized, believers disrupted him with claims they thought were correct. Disputes over circumcision, problems regarding the Jewish people, and questions about apostleship caused the church to lose its focus on the Gospel. Eventually, even Peter and Barnabas argued with Paul by holding onto the standards of the law(Galatians 2:11~20). At that time Paul rebuked them, declaring that such things were already finished on the cross(Galatians 2:20). Yet these conflicts became strongholds of Satan within the church. Meanwhile, powerful nations waged wars and took the 5,000 tribes as slaves. This needed to be transformed into the Throne movement. It was at this time God called Paul.
1. Beginning - 100% Guidance
Paul’s beginning was shaped by the full guidance of the Holy Spirit. Every person he met and every place he went was guided by the Holy Spirit as his ministry began(Acts 13:1~4). From the vision of Macedonia(Acts 16:6~10) to the Tyrannus movement(Acts 19:1~7), each start was led by the Holy Spirit.
2. Process - Healing 100%
Paul’s process was centered on complete healing in the field(Acts 13:5~12, 16:6~10, 19:8~20). Even with only a few journeys, he truly saw the spiritual needs of the field. Likewise, without confidence in healing, those who are ill won’t trust you.
3. Completion - System 100%
Paul’s completion was about building a firm system 100%. He raised disciples like Lydia, Jason, and the married couple Priscilla and Aquila, creating an unshakable system(Acts 16:15, 17:6, 18:1~4). He also went to synagogues(Acts 17:1, 18:4, 19:8), temples, and marketplaces.
What you need today is a 300% strategy. You must turn disaster zones and blind zones into golden fields, appoint church officers who’ll take responsibility for the field, and raise witnesses.
