I do most thoroughly agree with [what you saw about Art and Literature].

To my mind they are only healthy

/when they are either (a) Definitely the handmaids of religious, or at least moral, truth

– or (b) Admittedly aiming at nothing but innocent recreation or entertainment.

예술이 우상처럼 숭배를 받을 때  god이 되는데 예술인치고 예술을 신처럼 절대적으로 숭배하지 않는 신자 없고

인간의 유익이나 존엄을 위한 것이 아닌 예술을 위한 예술을 추구하다가 별의별 걸 다 예술이라 하는 예술신 되어

윤리도덕의 결박을 벗어 버리고 온갖 퇴폐문화를 조장하고 확산시켜 지구를 오물오락으로 덮으려고 싸고 뭉갠다

인간이 신노름하는 주체가 되는데 자신의 생각을 진리라고 믿는 자는 진리=신이나 신 아닌 인간이라 신노름자다
