3. 몸 마음의 싸움을 해결하기 위해 종교 필요

그러면 종교가 해야 할 사명이 무엇입니까? 몸이 제일 싫어하는 것을 제시하여 실천하도록 하는 것입니다. 금식을 해라, 봉사해라, 희생하라, 그리고 제물이 되어라! 제물은 피를 흘려 생명을 바칠 수 있어야 되는 것입니다.

타락한 인간은 거짓 사랑의 뿌리를 중심삼고 돌감람나무가 되었습니다. 다시 말하면 우리 인간은 참감람나무가 되지 못했다는 것입니다. 이것을 어떻게 청산해야 되겠습니까? 끝날에 재림 메시아이신 참부모가 와서 신인애 일체이상을 완성하여 참사랑·참생명·참혈통의 가정을 이루십니다.

지상의 모든 인간은 물론 천상의 모든 영인들도 모두 여기에 접붙여 참가정적 참감람나무가 되기 위한 2차 축복결혼을 받아 복귀 완성하는 것입니다. 그리하여 모든 인간은 본연의 혈족을 세우고 참가정과 참국가를 이뤄 참된 지상·천상천국에 들어갈 수 있는 것입니다.

본인은 그동안 세계평화의 실현을 위해서 초종교·초문화·초인종·초국가적인 축복결혼으로 참가정을 이루는 일이 대단히 중요한 하나님의 뜻이라고 가르쳐 왔습니다. 본인은 전 세계에서 이 숭고한 이상을 실현하겠다고 결의하고 동참한 수억 쌍에게 축복행사를 베풀어 왔습니다. 이상사회와 평화세계의 초석이 될 참사랑의 가정을 위해 본인은 생애를 바쳐 왔습니다.

모든 위대한 종교들을 연구하면 거기에는 문화와 인종, 종교와 국가의 경계를 뛰어넘는 인류의 보편적인 가치가 담겨 있습니다. 종교의 가르침은 결국 참사랑의 실천을 통해 절대자와의 관계를 복원하는 것입니다. 다시 말하면 신앙을 통해 절대·유일·불변·영원한 하나님과 하나가 될 때 인간은 하나님과 부자관계를 회복하고 그 본연의 가치를 되찾게 되는 것입니다.

참사랑으로 이룩된 심정권은 아무리 작아도 천륜을 따라 우주와 연결이 됩니다. 사람은 하나님의 참사랑 안에서만 공생·공영·공의의 이상을 실현할 수 있는 것입니다. 영계를 포함한 천주는 모두 동일한 하나님의 참사랑의 원리 아래 존재하기 때문입니다.

3. 心と体の争いを解決するために宗教が必要

それでは、宗教が果たすべき使命とは何でしょうか。体が最も嫌うことを提示し、実践するようにすることです。「断食をせよ」、「奉仕をせよ」、「犠牲となれ」、そして「供え物になれ」というのです。供え物は、血を流して生命を捧げることができなければなりません。

堕落した人間は、偽りの愛の根を中心として偽りのオリーブの木となりました。言い換えれば、私たち人間は、真のオリーブの木となることができなかったのです。これを清算するには、どのようにしなければならないのでしょうか。終末に再臨のメシヤであられる真の父母が来られ、神人愛一体理想を完成し、真の愛、真の生命、真の血統の家庭を成し遂げられるのです。

地上のすべての人間はもちろん、天上の霊人たちもすベてここに接ぎ木され、真の家庭的真のオリーブの木となるための二次祝福結婚を受け、復帰完成するのです。そうして、本然の血族を立て、真の家庭と真の国家を築き、真の地上、天上天国に入っていくことができるのです。

これまで私は、世界平和の実現のために、超宗教、超文化、超人種、超国家的な祝福結婚によって真の家庭を完成することが、とても重要な神様のみ旨であることを教えてきました。そして、この崇高な理想を実現しようと決意し、全世界から同参した数億組の人々に祝福行事を施してきました。理想社会と平和世界の礎となる真の愛の家庭のために、私は生涯を捧げてきました。

偉大な宗教を研究してみれば、そこには文化と人種、宗教と国家間の境界を跳び越える、人類の普遍的な価値がみな含まれています。宗教の教えは、結局、真の愛の実践を通して、絶対者との関係を復元するということです。

言い換えれば、信仰を通して、絶対、唯一、不変、永遠の神様と一つになるとき、人間は神様と父子の関係を回復し、その本然の価値を取り戻すようになるのです。

真の愛によって形成された心情圏は、いくら小さくても天倫に従って宇宙と連結するのです。人は、神様の真の愛の中においてのみ、共生、共栄、共義の理想を実現することができます。それは、霊界を含めた天宙がすべて同一な神様の真の愛の原理のもとに存在するからです。

3. Religion is to resolve the conflict between mind and body

What is the mission that religion must fulfill? It is to get us to cultivate things that body-centered people don’t like. For this reason, religions tell us to fast, to serve others, to be sacrificial and finally to place ourselves on the altar as an offering. A sacrificial offering must be prepared to shed its blood and sacrifice its life.

Fallen human beings became false olive trees with roots of false love. They failed to become true olive trees. How can we solve this problem? Today it is possible for human beings to receive the Blessing. It is given in a ceremony to rededicate marriages based upon God’s ideal of the family.

This ceremony represents the symbolic engrafting one’s family to the true life, true love and true lineage of the Lord of the Second Advent, the True Parents of humankind.

In other words, it is finally possible for fallen humanity, symbolized by false olive trees, to be cut and grafted onto the true olive tree of the True Family, and in this way achieve restoration and salvation. Through this process, it will be possible for all people to create true families, true nations and, ultimately, the true kingdom of God in heaven and on earth.

I have taught it is God’s Will that we create true families through this ceremony to rededicate marriages, which transcend religion, culture, race and nation. This is extremely important for the realization of world peace.

I have given this Blessing to hundreds of millions of couples around the world, and they participated because they determined to realize these noble ideals. I have dedicated my life for the sake of families of true love, which are the cornerstones of an ideal society and world peace.


A study of any of the great religions will show that they contain values universal to all humankind, transcending culture, race, religion and national boundaries. Religious teachings ultimately allow us to restore our relationship with the Almighty through the practice of true love. When we become one with the absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal God through faith, we restore our parent-child relationship with God and reclaim our original value.

A realm of the heart that is formed through true love, no matter how small it may be, connects us with the universe as a whole. Only in the context of God’s true love can humanity fulfill the ideals of interdependence, mutual prosperity and universally shared values. This is because the entire cosmos, including the spirit world, exists on the foundation of the principle of God’s true love.
