Screwtape reveals Hell’s intentions for human marriage: 마귀가 드러낸 지옥의 결혼관

[The Enemy’s demand on humans] takes the form of a dilemma;

either complete abstinence or unmitigated monogamy.

Ever since our Father’s first great victory, we have rendered [the former] [very difficult to them].

* 형역 과분사 unmitigated 뒷 명사 수식

We have done this /through the poets and novelists /by persuading the humans

and, specially, that one self is not another self.

완전한 금욕이든지 아니면 더도 덜도 아닌 딱 일부일처든지 둘 중 하나라는

우리의 애비 사탄이 최초의 위대한 승리를 한 이후로 줄곳 우리는 전자를 그들에게 매우 어려운 상태로 되게 했다 

* 사탄의 위대한 승리는 에덴동산에서 아담과 하와를 속여서 선악과를 먹게 하여 사탄의 노예를 만든 것인데

금지법을 어기고 죄를 범하면  그때나 지금이나 사탄/죄/정욕의 노예가 되어 시키는 대로 하다가 생을 망친다

* 금욕을 해야 신선도사든 카톨릭 신부든 되는데 못 하는 사람에게는 결혼이 유일한 탈출구라고 마귀는 말하지만

사실 남자와 여자는 결혼하는 게 정상이고 특별히 헌신된 사람만 독신을 하나 구교는 신부의 결혼을 완전 막아서 

금욕/독처할 의지나 능력이 없는 사람이 계율을 깨고 부정한 방법으로 정욕을 추구하므로 더 나쁘게 되게 하였다

우리는 시인이나 소설가를 통해서 인간을 설득함으로 이 일을 했었는데

* 희랍 신화의 싸이렌처럼 현실실체와는 다른 엉뚱한 이상향을 노래하는 시인이나 소설가들의 상상허상의 세상愛로

삶에 지친 사람들을 이끌어 재로 만든 꿈떡을 먹고 실낙원에서조차 타락으로 추락하게 만든 건 허구대장 사탄짓이다

그건 그들이 사랑에 빠진 것이라고 하는 묘하지만 보통 순간단명적인 경험이

결혼에 대해 존경할 만한 유일한 근거라는 것이고

that marriage can, and ought to, render [this excitement] [permanent]; 

그 결혼은 흥분을 영원히 유지하게 할 수 있고 해야 된다는 거고

and that [a marriage //which does not do so] is no longer binding.
그렇게 하지 않는 결혼은 더 이상 묶일/구속될 수 없다는 것이다

* 결혼해 본 사람 누구나 첫사랑의 감격이 결혼 생활 내내 지속되지 못하는 건  누구나 알며

(첫사랑의 황홀경에서 24/7/365 일을 살 수 없는 건 술 중독으로 일생을 못 사는 것과 같다)

결혼은 감정적 사랑이 전부가 아닌 걸 현실을 직면할 수 있는 성인이면 누구나 아는 터인데

그런 감정이 식으면 이혼을 하자는 것은 의지적인 찐 사랑을 무시하는 비이성적인 행태이며

이혼을 금지한 하나님의 법에 반대하는 세상풍조이기에 하나님의 뜻이 아닌 마귀의 뜻이다

* 마귀는 하나님의 말씀을 교묘히 비틀고 곡해해서 시편구절로 예수님조차 잘 못 적용하게 유혹했으니 건방진데

성경을 잘 모르는 평신도는 식은 죽 같은 마귀밥이라 여차하면 유혹에 걸려 먹히니 성경을 바로 알아야 안 속는다

* 천상천하 유아독존이라는 게 맞는 말 같지만 허구인 건 현실적으로도 불완상대 사회적 인간의 독존독생은 불가요

공생공존이라도 물에 빠진 너를 물에 빠진 내가 못 구하니 각자도생 같지만 성경은 독생자 예수님과 공존을 말한다

My good is my good and your good is yours. 
내 선은 내 선이고 니 선은 니 것이다

* 내 선은 내가 정한 선이고 니 선은 니가 정한 선이니 니 선으로 내 선을 평가하거나 강요하지 말라는 선 개념은

선악과에서 시작되었는데 하나님께서 안 먹는 걸 선으로 정하신 걸 사탄의 먹는 게 선이라는 말을 믿은 인간이

먹긴 먹었지만 인간이 믿은 선이 구현되기는커녕 악인 저주가 나온 것처럼 니선내선 죄인 선은 선 아닌 악이다

* 즉 니가 잃어야 내가 얻는다는 이기적 발상이 내 선의 핵심이니 내 선을 반대하는 니 선을 죽여야 내 선이 산다

만약 그것이 팽창한다면 그건 다른 대상을 밀어내거나 그것들을 흡수함으로 그렇게 할 수 있다

한 인간 자신도 똑같이 한다

* 홍수 나면 흙탕물이 지면의 모든 걸 밀어내고 범람하면 지면의 모든 걸 물속으로 흡수하여 물만 찰랑이듯

인간 영웅들도 자기를 드러내려 다른 인종인간을 폭력으로 쳐서 밀어내고 흡수통일로 자기 왕국을 세운다

With beasts the absorption takes the form of eating; 

짐승들한테는 흡수라는 건 먹는 형태를 취한다

* 먹힌 존재는 사라지고 먹은 존재만 적자생존하여 유아독존을 구현하려 끊임없이 치고받으니 다툼이 끊이지 않는다

우리 마귀들에게 그것은 약자에게서 의지와 자유를 빨아내서 더 강한 자 안으로 넣는 걸 의미한다

‘To be’ means ‘to be in competition’.
존재하기는 경쟁 안에 존재하는 것이다

* 공존법을 모르는 독존대왕 마귀뿐만 아니라 마귀의 사주로 하나님의 선/법을 깨고 벗은 인간들도 살려고 경쟁하여

상대를 짓밟고 좀비 노예로 삼아 승진승천의 사다리를 오르려 니죽고 나죽자 경쟁하니 삶 자체가 바로 지옥과 같다
