I'm a convert.
I've been struggling big time with my putting. Out of desperation I tried this today. What a revelation! Suddenly I can keep the putter square back and through with no twitching or right hand taking over.
This works for me way better than left hand low. I was actually looking forward to putting rather than dreading it.

After a bit of Googling I now realise that I am actually using the O'Meara saw grip with the fingers of my right hand resting on the grip. No matter, the principle is the same. This really keeps the right hand quiet and seems to completely stop it taking over.

I'm convinced. This will be my 5th year of using that type of grip.
It took me a while to get the speed/distance thing figured out but I was hitting it on the intended line right away. If I had a good caddy to read the line for me........ I'd be all set.
