1)  11월18일(토), 인도와 방글라데시의 문학단체, <벵갈 문학의 거울>(Mirror of Bengal Literature)에서 페이스북을 통해
     <세계 평화를 위한 제 2회 국제 시 콘서트>(The 2nd International Poetry Concert for World Peace)를 대륙 별로 나누어 개최하였습니다.

Let’s Hurry to Act Together, Poets

Let's write poems of peace together, poets,

Because poets can't give orders to stop wars

But transfuse the heart of forgiveness or reconciliation

To prevent or stop wars.

Let's write poems of love together, poets,

Because poets can't make the law that bans wars

But make the hot spring water of love gush out

In the frozen hearts of war buffs.

Let's write poems of prayer together, poets,

Because poets can't pull out the devil's tongue that impulses wars

But deliver the wisdom of God, the source of wisdom

Not to yield to the Devil’s whisper.

Let's hurry to raise our voices together, poets,

Because even now, young soldiers are shot down by bullets or bombing,

Homeless refugees wander around the streets,

Or the orphans who lost their parents are shedding bitter tears.

(한글 시)

시인들이여, 서둘러 함께 행동하자

시인들이여, 평화의 시를 함께 쓰자

시인들이 전쟁을 멈추게 하는 명령을 내리진 못하지만

전쟁을 막거나 멈추게 하는

용서나 화해의 마음을 수혈해 줄 수 있으니까

시인들이여, 사랑의 시를 함께 쓰자

시인들이 전쟁을 금지하는 법을 만들진 못하지만

전쟁광들의 얼어붙은 심장에

사랑의 온천수가 솟아나게 할 수 있으니까

시인들이여, 기도의 시를 함께 쓰자

시인들이 전쟁을 충동질하는 악마의 혀를 뽑을 수는 없지만

악마의 속삭임에 넘어가지 않는

지혜의 원천(源泉)이신 하나님의 지혜를 전해줄 수 있으니까

시인들이여, 서둘러 함께 목청을 높히자

지금도 총탄이나 폭격에 젊은 병사들이 쓰러지고

집 없는 난민(難民)들이 거리를 헤매거나

부모 잃은 고아들이 피눈물을 흘리고 있으니까
