Christ must be present in us to provide salvation and give us strength, but we only believe Jesus and say Hallelujah only to the historical facts of His death and resurrection, so Christ, who is the resurrection and the life, cannot do anything in us.
Like Martha and Mary, they ask why the Lord is coming now, if the Lord had existed, He would have healed her brother's illness so that he would not die, and then went to the tomb to weep.
The Lord, who is the resurrection and the life, came to raise Lazarus back to life, but they do not believe him, so he stands in the same spot where Martha and Mary met (Jn 11:30).
It's like Christians' faith is suspended in the place where they used to believe in Jesus as their Lord.
"Hallelujah, Jesus is risen and ascended to heaven. Amen, Lord Jesus, come quickly.", they affirm and seal their faith. and they are saying, “I believe in Jesus, and when I die, I will enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.”
However, Paul says that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18).
And to all who have been called into Christ, Christ is the power and wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24).
These two verses are the key verses of I Corinthians 1. Christ is power and wisdom.
It means that Christ, who is the power and wisdom within us, is the best way.
The trademark of the church is that the saints who receive grace and peace receive salvation in real time as they earnestly appeal to the name in Christ.
How can I, who died in trespasses and sins without knowing the message of the cross of Christ, die with Christ and rise again to be united with his resurrection and know the grace of being seated in heaven? (Ephesians 2:1-10)
If you do not know the grace of Christ's redemption, the Spirit of truth will not come into you, so You cannot come to the throne of grace in the name of the Lord. Because you become one spirit with the Lord through the truth and peace (Eirene) is made, you can come to the throne of grace in the name of the Lord. So grace and peace are one set.
Grace being applied to us by grace, becoming one with Christ through the truth, and worshiping God the Father in the Spirit and in truth, everything is solved in Christ and through Christ.
When the death within us is resolved, everything else seems insignificant.
Even family problems in the home are solved by Christ.
Christ is the vacuum cleaner for problem solving, but the individual or church has a problem because Christ is not in them.
Apostle Paul's point towards the Corinthian church is that they are pouring out countless words like a gong, but they are speaking words without the life of Christ in them.
It is the most important problem the church has then, now, and in the future.
When Jesus came in the flesh, he said to the Jews, "Your lips honor me, but your heart is far from me" (Mt 15:8).
There was no God in them, no Christ.
If Christ, the Son, is not in him, surely the Father is not.
Even though they claim to be Jews, they are the synagogue of Satan (Rev. 2:9).
The Bible says that this is what the church look like in the end times.
This is the appearance of the church in Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-22), and it is the appearance of the modern church.
2 Corinthians 13:5 is the concluding word for the Corinthian church.
“Test yourselves whether you are in the faith, prove yourselves. Do you not know yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?
Otherwise, you are outcasts.”
He is asking the Corinthian church if you have the faith received Christ in you.
The question is, even though you are saying that Christ is in you, you can't solve those problems.
For those of us who claim to believe in Jesus Christ, he is asking whether Christ is manifesting in your body and flesh by His saving power.
