1. 남아프리카공화국에서 열린 주요 20개국 정상회의 참석을 마치고 이번 중동·아프리카 순방의  마지막 방문국인 튀르키예에 도착한 이재명 대통령이 기내에서 기자들과 간담회를 가졌습니다.

   이 대통령은 간담회에서 북한과의 대화 필요성을 재차 강조했는데요.

   President Lee Jae-myeong, who arrived in Turkiye, the last country to visit the Middle East and Africa, after attending the G20 summit in South Africa, held a meeting with reporters on board.

   At the meeting, President Lee reiterated the need for dialogue with North Korea.

2. 오늘(24일) 한덕수 전 국무총리의 내란 방조 혐의 공판에서는 피고인 신문이 진행되고 있습니다.

   한 전 총리는 자신이 헌법재판소에서 위증을 한 사실이 맞다고 인정했는데요.

   그가 특검 조사 과정에서는 "윤 전 대통령으로부터 선포문을 받았다"며 기존 진술을 번복한 바 있습니다.

   The defendant's interrogation is underway today (24th) at the trial of former Prime Minister Han Deok-soo on charges of aiding and abetting civil war.

   Former Prime Minister Han admitted that he had perjury at the Constitutional Court.

   During the special prosecutor's investigation, he reversed his previous statement, saying, "I received a declaration from former President Yoon.“

3. 국내 최대 성착취 피해를 일으킨 '자경단' 총책 김녹완에 대한 법원의 1심 판단이 나왔습니다.

법원은 그들에게 검찰의 구형량과 같은 무기징역을 선고했는데요.

   The court's first trial judgment on Kim Nok-wan, the chief of the "self-government police group" that caused the largest damage to sexual exploitation in Korea, came out.

The court sentenced them to life imprisonment equal to the prosecution's sentence.

5. 제주시 우도에서 승합차가 사람이 밀집한 지역으로 돌진하는 사고가 발생했습니다.

   현재까지 2명이 심정지 상태로 병원에 옮겨졌지만 사망했고, 10명이 크고 작은 부상을 입은 것으로 알려졌는데요.

   A van rushed into a crowded area in Udo, Jeju.

   So far, two people have been taken to the hospital with cardiac arrest, but they have died, and 10 have reportedly suffered major and minor injuries.
