6. 평화세계를 이루는 길

세계의 지도자 여러분! 예수님도 ‘내가 섬김을 받으러 온 것이 아니라 섬기러 왔다.’라고 했습니다. 평화세계를 이루는 길이 다른 데 있는 것이 아니고 위해서 사는 삶의 천도를 실천하는 데 있음을 밝히신 것입니다. 평화의 뿌리는 참사랑에 있다고 했습니다. 따라서 우리 모두는 참사랑의 근원이고 주인 되시는 하나님을 믿고 천리를 따르는 정도를 걸어야 할 것입니다. 그런 사람에게는 천운이 함께하실 것이며 만사가 형통할 것입니다.

부디 몸과 마음의 통일로 인격 완성을 성취하시고 위하는 삶의 실천을 통해 여러분 각자의 마음속에 평화의 기지를 정착시키기를 바랍니다. 우리가 원수까지도 용서하고 위해 주는 삶을 실천할 때 작게는 개인으로부터 크게는 세계까지 평화문화를 성취할 수 있게 되는 것입니다. 그래서 본인은 지난해 천일국의 개막을 천상천하에 선포했습니다. 천일국이란 두 사람이 하나되어 사는 세계를 말합니다.

작게는 개인의 몸과 마음이 하나되어 개인으로서 완성체를 이루는 것이요, 크게는 부부가 하나되고 부모와 자식이 하나되어 3대를 통해 가정을 하나 만들어야 함은 물론 전 인류가 하나님 아래 한 형제자매로서 동거동락할 수 있는 세계를 창건해야 하는 것을 말합니다.

이처럼 하나님의 창조본연의 세계인 천일국의 안착을 위해 본인은 벌써 1만여 명의 평화대사들을 전 세계에 파송하여 그 박차를 가하고 있습니다. 그런 맥락에서 본인은 또 유엔본부에서 세계 모든 국경들을 철폐해야 한다고 주장했으며, 유엔에 최종 의결기관인 초국가·초인종·초종교적 기구를 두어 세계적으로 명망 높은 영적 지도자들이 평화세계 창건에 앞장서야 한다고 촉구했던 것입니다.

第11章 平和の根は真の愛に

6. 平和世界を実現する道

世界の指導者の皆様。イエス様も「人の子がきたのも、仕えられるためではなく、仕えるため」(マルコ一〇 · 四五)と言われました。平和世界を実現する道は、ほかのところにあるのではなく、ために生きる人生の天道を実践するところにあることを明らかにされたのです。平和の根は真の愛にあると言われたのです。したがって、私たちはみな真の愛の根源であり主人であられる神様を信じ、天理に従う正道を歩まなければなりません。そのような人には天運が共にあり、万事が思いどおりにうまくいくでしょう。

どうか、心と体の統一によって人格完成を成就し、ために生きる人生の実践を通して、皆様各自の心の中に平和の基地を定着させるよう願います。私たちが怨讐までも赦し、ために生きる人生を実践するとき、小さくは個人から、大きくは世界まで、平和文化を成就できるようになるのです。それで、昨年、私は「天一国」の開幕を天上天下に宣布しました。天一国とは、二人が一つになって生きる世界のことをいいます。

小さくは個人の心と体が一つになって個人として完成体となることであり、大きくは夫婦が一つとなり、父母と子女が一つとなって、三代を通して家庭を一つにしなければならないことはもちろん、全人類が神様のもとの一つの兄弟姉妹として苦楽を共にできる世界を創建しなければならないということなのです。

このように、神様の創造本然の世界である天一国の安着のために、既に私は一万人以上の平和大使を全世界に派遣し、その拍車を掛けています。

そのような脈絡から、私はまた国連本部において、「世界のすべての国境を撤廃すべきである」と主張したのであり、国連に対し、最終議決機関である超国家、超人種、超宗教的機構を置き、世界的に名声と人望の高い霊的指導者たちが平和世界創建の先頭に立たなければならないと促したのです。

6. The way to realize a world of peace

Respected world leaders, Jesus also said, “For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matt. 20:28) Jesus made clear that the path to bringing about a world of peace lies in living for the sake of others, which is the heavenly way.

I have stated that the root of peace is true love. For this reason, we are all called to believe in God, who is the Author and Lord of true love, and follow the correct path of the heavenly law. Heavenly fortune will be with the person who does this, and such a person will be able to accomplish anything.

I sincerely ask that each one of you accomplish the perfection of your character by forging the unity of your mind and body and through living for the sake of others, thereby securing a foundation for peace within your mind.

When we forgive even our enemies and live for their sake, we will be able to build a culture of peace on every level, from the individual to the world. This is the reason that last year I declared to all of heaven and earth the beginning of Cheon II Guk, the Nation of Cosmic Peace and Unity.

Cheon II Guk signifies a world in which two live as one. On the lowest level, an individual’s mind and body become one to form a perfected person. On a higher level, a husband and wife become one, and parents and children become one, so that the family is united across three generations. Then human beings can build a world where all people are under God as brothers and sisters and share in each other’s emotions.

I have already commissioned more than ten thousand ambassadors for peace across the world so that Cheon II Guk may settle in the world. In this context, I declared at the United Nations that all fighting over national borders must end.

I also called for the United Nations to create a body of renowned spiritual leaders from around the world with final decision-making authority that transcends nation, race, and religion, to lead the way in building a world of peace.
