- 영한 : 넌 그렇겠지, 나는 그렇지 않아. 나는 그렇게 생각하지 않는데, 너나 그렇지(너나 잘해라)

- 줄임말 : SFY

- 영영 : used to tell somebody that a general statement they have just made is not true of you

- 예문 :

‘We didn’t play very well.’ // ‘Speak for yourself!’
‘우리가 경기를 아주 잘 하지는 못했어.’ // ‘난 안 그래, 잘 했다고 생각하는데!’

Speak for yourself, you don't speak for me.

Jerome: It's true. It'll happen again.
제이롬: 진짜야. 또 그렇게 된다니까.

Stewart: That's just your opinion.
스튜엇: 그건 네 생각이고.

Jerome: You will see my friend. Work will interfere again.
제이롬: 이 친구야 두고 봐. 일을 또 끌어들인다니까.

Stewart: It it does it does. My parents are understanding.
스튜엇: 그렇게 되면 그러는 거지. 우리 부모님은 이해하셔.

[기억할만한 표현]
*come up: (문제등이) 갑자기 생기다.

(문제는 일어날 때마다 즉시 해결하려 해야지.)

*get together: 모이다. 뭉치다.

(우리 점심 한 번 먹게 뭉쳐야지.)

“Roger: ”It’s going to rain tomorrow.(라저: 내일 비 올 거야.)
