M: Hey, Kayla, how's it going? Aren't you supposed to be on the plane?
K.:Yes, but they overbooked it, and I got bumped! I don't know what to do.

M: According to the government website explaining the recent changes to the consumer protection law, the airline has to give you a refund.
K: How long will that take?
M: If you play your cards right, they'll give cash immediately./  K: On the spot? That's amazing! How much will they give me?
M: If the delay is longer than four hours, they must give you up to four times the price of a one-way ticket or $1,350, whichever is smaller.
K: Are you serious? I'm definitely going to come out ahead.
M: So, how did it go?
K: It was a walk in the park. The moment I told the lady at the help desk that I knew what my rights were, she was extremely helpful.
M: Who would have thought it would be so easy to go in against a big corporation and win!
K: Not only did I get a cash refund, but she booked me on the flight she offered me before.
M: The one in the first-class section?
