고린도전서 15:3-8

내가 받은 것을 먼저 너희에게 전하였노니 이는 성경대로 그리스도께서 우리 죄를 위하여 죽으시고 장사 지낸 바 되었다가 성경대로 사흘 만에 다시 살아나사 게바에게 보이시고 후에 열두 제자에게와 그 후에 오백여 형제에게 일시에 보이셨나니 그 중에 지금까지 태반이나 살아 있고 어떤 이는 잠들었으며 그 후에 야고보에게 보이셨으며 그 후에 모든 사도에게와 맨 나중에 만삭되지 못하여 난 자 같은 내게도 보이셨느니라.

예수님께서는 성경의 예언대로 이 세상에 오셔서 인류의 죄를 위하여 십자가에서 죽으시고 장사 지낸 바 되셨으며, 성경대로 사흘 만에 다시 살아나셨습니다. 그리고 게바와 열두 제자, 오백여 형제, 야고보와 모든 사도에게 나타나셨고, 마지막에는 사도 바울에게도 자신을 보여 주셨습니다. 부활하신 예수님께서 많은 증인들에게 나타나신 것은 그 부활이 실제 역사적 사건임을 증언하는 것입니다.

예수님께서 인류의 죄를 대신하여 죽으시고 부활하셨기 때문에, 예수 그리스도를 믿고 자신의 죄를 회개하는 자는 죄를 용서받고 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 소망을 얻게 됩니다.

예수님의 피는 창조주 하나님의 피입니다. 영이신 여호와 하나님께서 인간의 몸을 입고 이 땅에 오셔서 인류의 죄를 담당하시고 십자가에서 죽으셨으며, 다시 살아나셨습니다. 예수 그리스도는 육신을 입고 오신 하나님이십니다. 만물을 창조하신 하나님의 능력은 온 세상을 지으셨고, 예수 그리스도의 보혈은 회개하는 자의 죄를 깨끗하게 하십니다.

그러나 예수 그리스도를 믿지 않는 자는 죄를 용서받지 못합니다. 또한 예수를 믿는다고 하면서도 죄를 회개하지 않는 사람 역시 죄 사함을 받지 못합니다. 그러므로 반드시 예수 그리스도를 구원자로 믿고 자신의 죄를 회개해야 합니다. 그때 예수님의 보혈이 우리를 깨끗하게 하시는 것입니다.

죄의 근본은 하나님의 말씀에 불순종하는 것입니다. 하나님을 사랑하지 않고 이웃을 사랑하지 않는 것이 죄의 본질입니다. 우상을 섬기는 것은 하나님을 사랑하지 않는 것이며, 남을 미워하고 용서하지 않으며 악을 행하고 선을 행하지 않는 것도 죄입니다. 이러한 죄를 진심으로 회개할 때 예수 그리스도의 보혈이 우리를 깨끗하게 하시고 구원의 은혜를 베푸십니다.

하나님보다 세상을 더 사랑하는 것이 우상숭배입니다. 돈과 명예와 쾌락을 하나님보다 더 사랑하는 것은 우상을 섬기는 것입니다. 또한 자신의 욕심을 이루기 위해 이웃을 속이고 거짓말하며 해를 끼치는 것은 이웃 사랑을 버린 죄입니다.

모든 사람은 죄를 짓습니다. 세상 사람들은 겉으로 드러나는 죄를 짓는 경우가 많지만, 많은 사람은 마음속에서도 죄를 짓습니다. 남을 미워하고 시기하며, 남의 것을 탐하고 음란한 생각을 품는 것도 하나님 앞에서는 죄입니다. 바리새인들은 이러한 마음의 죄를 회개하지 않았습니다.

주님께서는 그들을 향하여 "독사의 자식들"이라고 책망하셨습니다. 성경에서 독사와 뱀은 사탄을 상징합니다. 그들은 마음이 악에 사로잡혀 있었음에도 회개하지 않았습니다. 그러므로 주님께서는 그들의 영적 상태를 엄중히 경고하셨습니다. 마음속에 품은 죄까지도 회개해야 사탄의 권세에서 벗어나 하나님의 구원을 누릴 수 있습니다.

그러므로 우리는 회개하고 성령의 도우심을 받아야 합니다. 성령께서 함께하실 때 우리는 죄와 사탄의 유혹을 이길 수 있습니다. 겉으로는 깨끗해 보였지만 속은 죄악으로 가득했던 바리새인들의 모습을 본받아서는 안 됩니다. 우리는 날마다 자신의 마음을 살피며 회개하고, 하나님의 말씀에 순종하며, 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하는 삶을 살아야 합니다.

1 Corinthians 15:3-8

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

Jesus came into this world according to the prophecies of the Scriptures, died on the cross for the sins of humanity, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. He then appeared to Cephas, the Twelve, more than five hundred brothers and sisters, James, all the apostles, and finally to the Apostle Paul. The appearance of the resurrected Jesus to numerous witnesses testifies that His resurrection is an actual historical event.

Because Jesus died on behalf of humanity’s sins and rose again, anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and repents of their sins receives forgiveness and gains the hope of entering the Kingdom of God.

The blood of Jesus is the blood of God the Creator. God Jehovah, who is Spirit, came to this earth in human form, bore the sins of humanity, died on the cross, and rose again. Jesus Christ is God who came in the flesh. The power of God, who created all things, made the entire world, and the precious blood of Jesus Christ cleanses the sins of those who repent.

However, those who do not believe in Jesus Christ do not receive forgiveness of sins. Furthermore, those who claim to believe in Jesus but do not repent of their sins also fail to receive forgiveness. Therefore, one must believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and repent of their sins. Only then does the blood of Jesus cleanse us.

The root of sin is disobedience to the word of God. Not loving God and not loving one's neighbor is the true essence of sin. Serving idols is not loving God, and hating others, refusing to forgive, doing evil, and failing to do good are also sins. When we sincerely repent of these sins, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us and bestows upon us the grace of salvation.

Loving the world more than God is idolatry. Loving money, fame, and pleasure more than God is serving idols. In addition, deceiving, lying to, and harming one's neighbor to satisfy one's own greed is a sin that abandons love for one's neighbor.

Everyone commits sin. While people of the world often commit outward sins, many also commit sins within their hearts. Hating and envying others, coveting what belongs to others, and harboring lustful thoughts are all sins before God. The Pharisees did not repent of these sins of the heart.

The Lord rebuked them, calling them a "brood of vipers." In the Bible, vipers and snakes symbolize Satan. Although their hearts were bound by evil, they did not repent. Therefore, the Lord sternly warned them of their spiritual condition. We must repent even of the sins harbored in our hearts to escape the power of Satan and enjoy God's salvation.

Therefore, we must repent and receive the help of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is with us, we can overcome sin and the temptations of Satan. We must not follow the example of the Pharisees, who appeared clean on the outside but were full of sin on the inside. We must examine our hearts daily, repent, obey the word of God, and live a life of loving God and our neighbor.
