2. 타락으로 인해 창조이상과 정반대가 된 세계

오늘 본인은 여러분을 모시고 본인의 이와 같은 소신의 일단을 피력하려고 합니다. 세계의 모든 종교는 우주의 근본 원인을 창조주 혹은 하나님이라는 분으로 인정하는 데서부터 출발합니다. 그 하나님은 선이시요, 그 하나님은 영원불변하시고 유일하시며 절대적인 분이어야 합니다. 그 하나님께서 이 세상을 지으셨다면, 거기에는 반드시 창조목적이 선행되었을 것입니다. 그리고 그 창조목적도 역시 영원·불변·유일·절대적이어야만 합니다.

하나님의 창조목적은 기쁨입니다. 기쁨을 누리시고자 인간과 세상을 지으셨습니다. 그런데 그 기쁨은 홀로 느낄 수 없습니다. 기쁨을 누리시려면 반드시 대상, 혹은 짝이 필요합니다. 주체와 대상이 서로 상대기준을 이루어 주고받을 때 기쁨을 느낄 수 있는 것입니다. 그리고 최고의 기쁨은 사랑을 주고받을 때 느낄 수 있습니다. 그리하여 하나님께서는 우리 인간을 대상으로 지으시고, 그 대상과 더불어 무한한 사랑을 주고받으시면서 영원히 기쁨을 누리시고자 하셨던 것입니다. 그것이 곧 창조목적이었던 것입니다.

이와 같은 창조목적을 이루기 위하여 첫 인간조상으로 일남일녀를 지으셨으니, 성서에서는 이들을 아담과 해와라고 부릅니다. 그 아담과 해와가 하나님의 완전한 기쁨의 대상이 되어 사랑을 주고받으며 선한 자녀를 번식하였더라면, 그 가정이 확대되어 사회가 되고 그 사회가 발전하여 국가가 되며, 그 국가는 세계로 발전되어 이 지구는 아담의 일족으로 충만하고, 이 땅 위에는 하나님의 선과 사랑을 완성한 기쁨의 세계가 이루어졌을 것입니다. 그 세계를 곧 천국이라 칭하며, 그 천국은 분명히 이 지상에 이루어졌을 것인데, 이 세계는 곧 지상천국이라 아니할 수 없습니다.

이 지상천국은 하나님을 중심한 한 가정이요, 인류는 모두 한 형제입니다. 거기에는 하나의 전통과 하나의 문화가 있는 하나의 통일세계일 수밖에 없습니다. 여기에는 인종차별이 있을 수 없고, 언어의 상충이 있을 수 없고, 국가 분열이 있을 수 없고, 이념대결이 있을 수 없고, 살육 상쟁하는 전쟁이 있을 수 없습니다. 이와 같은 하나님의 이상세계를 그려 보며 오늘날의 현실을 바라볼 때, 우리는 하나님의 이상과는 정반대의 세계에 살고 있음을 통감하게 됩니다. 우선 우리의 한 몸 안에서 마음과 몸이 분열된 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

오늘 우리의 세계는 분열의 세계입니다. 국가 분열, 언어 분열, 문화 전통의 분열, 인종 분열, 이념 분열, 사랑 분열 등 이와 같은 분열 속에서 인류역사는 투쟁과 전쟁과 살육의 연속이었습니다. 이것은 아무리 보아도 천국이라 할 수 없습니다. 우리는 지상지옥에 살고 있습니다. 이것은 인간조상인 아담 해와가 타락했기 때문에 빚어진 결과입니다. 타락했다는 말은 하나님을 거역했다는 말이요, 하나님으로부터 떨어졌다는 말입니다. 그래서 하나님이 임재하실 수 없는 역사가 시작되었습니다. 인류역사는 하나님을 거역한 역사의 연속으로 오늘날에 이르렀습니다.

2. 堕落によって創造理想と正反対になった世界

きょう、私は皆様をお迎えし、私のこのような所信の一端を披瀝しようと思います。世界のすべての宗教は、宇宙の根本原因を、創造主または神様という方として認定するところから出発します。その神様は善であり、永遠不変であり、唯一であり、絶対的な方でなければなりません。その神様がこの世をお造りになったとするならば、そこには必ず創造目的が先行したはずです。そして、その創造目的も、やはり永遠、不変、唯一、絶対的なものでなければなりません。

神様の創造目的は「喜び」です。喜びを得ようとして、人間と世界を造られたのです。その喜びというのは、一人では感じることができません。喜びを感じるためには必ず対象、または相手が必要です。主体と対象が互いに相対基準を結んで与え合うとき、喜びを感じることができるのです。そして最高の喜びは、愛を与え、受けるときに感じることができます。そのように、神様が私たち人間を対象として造られ、その対象とともに無限の愛を与え合い、永遠に喜びを得ようとされたのです。それが、すなわち創造目的だったのです。

このような創造目的を果たすために、人間始祖として一男一女を造られたのですが、聖書では彼らを「アダム」、「エバ」と呼びます。そのアダムとエバが、神様の完全な喜びの対象となり、愛を与え合いながら、善の子女を繁殖していれば、その家庭が拡大して社会となり、その社会が発展して国家となり、その国家は世界に発展して、この地球は、このアダムの一族で満ちあふれ、この地上には神様の善と愛を完成した喜びの世界が築かれていたのです。その世界を、すなわち天国と称し、その天国は明らかにこの地上にできたはずだったのですが、その世界は、すなわち地上天国と言わざるを得ないのです。

この地上天国は、神様を中心とした一つの家庭であり、人類はすべて一つの兄弟です。そこには一つの伝統と一つの文化がある一つの統一世界にほかなりません。そこには人種差別はあり得ず、言語の衝突もなく、国家の分裂も、理念の対決も、殺戮して相争う戦争もあり得ません。このような神様の理想世界を描きながら、今日の現実を眺めてみるとき、私たちは、神様の理想とは正反対の世界に住んでいることを痛感させられます。まず私たちの一つの体の中に、心と体の分裂を見ることができるのです。

今日の私たちの世界は、分裂の世界です。国家の分裂、言語の分裂、文化、伝統、人種、理念、愛の分裂など、このような分裂の中で、人類歴史は殺戮の闘争と戦争の連続でした。これはどう見ても、天国と言うことはできません。私たちは地上地獄に住んでいるのです。これは、人間始祖アダムとエバの堕落によってもたらされた結果です。堕落したということは、神様に逆らったということであり、神様から離れたということです。それによって、神様が臨在できない歴史が始まりました。人類歴史は、神様に逆らう歴史の連続によって今日に至りました。

2. The world has become the antithesis of the ideal of creation

Today I wish to frankly share a part of my faith with you. All religions of the world start by recognizing the ultimate cause of the cosmos, the first cause, as God the Creator. If God exists, then God is good and God is eternal, unchanging, unique and absolute.

God’s purpose of creation is joy. It was to experience joy that God created the world and human beings. In order to feel joy, however, one should definitely have an object partner. When a subject partner and an object partner form a relationship and engage in give and take action, they can feel joy.

The greatest joy can be felt when love is being given and received. Therefore, God created human beings to be His object partners, and through an infinite give and take of love for eternity, God wanted to experience joy eternally with human beings. This was God’s purpose of creation.

In order to accomplish this purpose of creation, God created one man and one woman as the first ancestors of humanity. In the Bible they are called Adam and Eve. If Adam and Eve had become the perfect object partners of God’s joy, then their give and receive of love would have multiplied descendants of goodness.

As that family multiplied into a society, the society into a nation, the nation into a world, the whole earth would have been filled with this one tribe of Adam and Eve. This would have been a world of joy that completed God’s goodness and love. That world, called the kingdom of heaven, would have been established on this earth in the beginning.

The kingdom of heaven on earth is one extended family centering on God, where all people are brothers and sisters. It would have one culture and one tradition, and it would clearly be a united world. There would be no racial problems; there would be no differences of language, divisions among the nations, confrontations of ideologies, no murder or war.

If we imagine this world of God’s ideal and then look at the world in which we are living today, we feel strongly that this world is the exact opposite of God’s ideal. First of all, today we can see that even as individuals we are divided between mind and body.

Our world today is a world of division: divisions among nations, divisions among cultures and traditions, divisions between the races, divisions between ideologies and divisions of love. Because of these divisions, history has been a succession of wars, of battles, of killing one another. No matter how we look at it, we cannot call this world the kingdom of heaven.

Truly we live in hell on earth. This result came about because the first ancestors of humanity, Adam and Eve, fell. To say they fell means that they disobeyed God and separated from God. Therefore, history began where God could not dwell with them directly. History has consisted of acts of disobedience to God, one after another, to this day.
