첫댓글농담식으로 얘기한건데요, 목을 멜수있을정도의 밧줄을 준다네요. 원하는 만큼 밧줄을 준다는게 알아서 해보라는 의미인데, 일이 잘풀리면 잘된거지만 일이꼬이면 그게 오히려 해가 될수도 있다는 얘기죠. Your job? Don't hang yourself.는 "밧줄을 받은상태에서 나의 임무는 무엇이냐... 목메어 죽지 않는것이다"정도로 보시면 될것 같습니다.
