고린도후서 4:1-5 이러하므로 우리가 이 직분을 받아 긍휼하심을 입은대로 낙심하지 아니하고 이에 숨은 부끄러움의 일을 버리고 궤휼 가운데 행하지 아니하며 하나님의 말씀을 혼잡케 아니하고 오직 진리를 나타냄으로 하나님 앞에서 각 사람의 양심에 대하여 스스로 천거하노라 만일 우리 복음이 가리웠으면 망하는 자들에게 가리운 것이라 그 중에 이 세상 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미케 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비취지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라 우리가 우리를 전파하는 것이 아니라 오직 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것과 또 예수를 위하여 우리가 너희의 종 된 것을 전파함이라

하나님의 긍휼하심으로 우리가 용서받고 이 직분을 받은 것입니다. 순종하고 회개하는 삶을 살 때 많은 어려움을 겪게 됩니다. 그러나 낙심하지 말아야 합니다. 궤휼과 인간적인 수단으로 어려움을 넘기려 해서는 안 됩니다. 끝까지 순종하면서 주님의 도우심을 바라보아야 합니다.

하나님의 말씀을 혼잡하게 하지 말아야 합니다. 인간의 교리는 불순종하고 회개하지 않아도 구원받는다고 가르칩니다. 이것이 하나님의 말씀을 혼잡하게 하는 것입니다. 우리는 오직 진리를 따라야 합니다. 진리는 오직 한 분이신 하나님을 믿고, 서로 용서하고 사랑하며, 주님의 말씀대로 사는 것입니다.

그리스도의 복음이 가려지고 사람들이 그것을 깨닫지 못하는 이유는, 그리스도의 복음에 복종하지 않고 회개하지 않는 완악한 마음 때문입니다. 사탄은 이러한 자들의 마음을 더욱 혼미하고 어둡게 만듭니다. 그래서 그리스도의 영광스러운 복음의 광채가 비추어도 그들은 깨닫지 못하고, 오히려 그리스도에게서 더욱 멀어지는 것입니다.

그리스도는 하나님의 형상이십니다. 영이신 하나님은 인간의 눈에 보이지 않습니다. 보이지 않는 하나님께서 인간의 죄를 짊어지시기 위해 사람의 육체를 입고 오셨습니다. 예수 그리스도는 인간의 눈에 보이도록 나타나신 창조주 하나님이십니다. 그래서 성경은 예수님을 하나님의 형상이라고 말씀하시는 것입니다.

우리는 우리 자신을 전파하는 것이 아닙니다. 우리는 오직 예수님이 하나님이신 것과 예수님이 만유의 주인이심을 전파하는 것입니다. 그 말씀에 순종하고 회개하는 것이 예수님을 믿는 것입니다. 이것이 영원히 변하지 않는 복음입니다. 이 말씀 외의 다른 것은 모두 가짜입니다.

2 Corinthians 4:1-5

For this reason we received this ministry, and as we have been given mercy, we do not lose heart. We have put aside the hidden shameful things, and do not walk in deceit, nor distort the word of God, but we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience before God by manifesting the truth. If our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, for Christ is the image of God. We do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and us as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

We have been forgiven and received this ministry through God’s mercy. When we live a life of obedience and repentance, we will face many difficulties. However, we must not lose heart. We must not try to overcome difficulties through deceit and human means. We must look to the Lord's help while remaining obedient to the end.

We must not distort the word of God. Human doctrine teaches that one can be saved even without disobedience or repentance. This is what confuses the Word of God. We must follow only the truth. The truth is believing in the one and only God, forgiving and loving one another, and living according to the Lord's Word.

The reason the Gospel of Christ is obscured and people fail to realize it is due to their hardened hearts that do not submit to the Gospel of Christ and do not repent. Satan makes the hearts of such people even more confused and dark. Therefore, even when the glorious radiance of the Gospel of Christ shines, they do not realize it; instead, they drift further away from Christ.

Christ is the image of God. God, being a spirit, is invisible to human eyes. The invisible God came clothed in human flesh to bear the sins of mankind. Jesus Christ is the Creator God who has appeared visibly to human eyes. That is why the Bible says that Jesus is the image of God.

We are not preaching ourselves. We are only preaching that Jesus is God and that Jesus is the Lord of all things. Obeying that Word and repenting is believing in Jesus. This is the Gospel that never changes. Everything other than this Word is a fake.
