오리지널 성전(왕상8:12-21)

왕상8:12

고대 사회에서 신전 건축은 왕의 중요한 책무였습니다. 신전의 낙성식은

자신의 치적을 만방에 알리는 절호의 기회이기도 했어요. 대업을 이루면

대단한 사람인 양 으쓱대는 게 인지상정이지요. 작은 성과에도 생색내는

게 인간입니다. 그런데 성전 낙성식에는 솔로몬이 잘 보이지 않습니다.

In ancient society, the construction of temples was an important responsibility

of the king. The fall ceremony of the temple was also a great opportunity to

publicize his achievements in all over the world. When you accomplish great

things, it's human nature to be proud as if you're a great person. It is human

to show off even small achievements. But you don't really see Solomon on the

consecration of the temple.

‘이스라엘의 성전이 주변 나라의 신전과 다른 것은 그것이 단순히 하나님의

거처라는 참된 실재에 대한 어느 정도의 이해를 반영하기 때문이 아니라,

다른 모든 불완전한 신전이 갈망하는 참된 성전으로 간주되기를 바라는

의도를 가지기 때문이다(성전신학, 그레고리K비일, 2014.새 물결 플러스). “

"Israel's temple differs from the temple of the surrounding country not simply

because it reflects a certain understanding of the true reality that it is the

residence of God, but because it is intended to be regarded as the true temple

that all other incomplete temples crave (Holy Theology, Gregory K Beale,

2014. New Wave Plus)."

솔로몬의 성전은 이웃하는 나라의 신전과 유사하기도 하면서 또한 다릅니다.

성전 신앙이라는 점에서는 같은데 차이는 하나님의 존재와 역사 때문에 일어

납니다. 하나님은 성전에 대한 사람들의 열정보다 하나님의 말씀에 순종하는

것을 더 귀하게 보시기 때문입니다.

Solomon's temple is similar to and different from the temple of the neighboring

country. It's the same in terms of temple faith, but the difference is caused by

God's existence and history. Because God values obeying the word of God more

than the passion of the people for the temple.

우상을 만들지 말라는 이유도 우상은 인간의 자기 열심을 투영하기 때문입니다.

성전 신앙은 순종을 전제로 할 때 비로소 의미를 갖습니다. 솔로몬이 성전 봉헌

식을 거행하면서 성전의 의미를 연설문을 통해 밝히고 있습니다.

The reason not to create idols is because they project human self-interest.

Temple faith is only meaningful on the premise of obedience. Solomon is

holding a dedication ceremony to the temple, revealing the meaning of the

temple through a speech.

제사장이 일할 수 없을 만큼 빼곡히 들어찬 구름을 본 솔로몬은 인간이 감히

쳐다볼 수 없을 만큼 위엄스러운 하나님(출20:18-21),캄캄한데 계시는 하나님이

광야 성막에 임재 하셨듯이(출40:34,35), 자신이 건축한 성전에도 임마누엘하신

것을 깨닫고 “다윗의 위가 영원히 견고하리라(삼하7:16)” 는 약속을 생각했을

것입니다.

Having seen the clouds so filled that the priest could not work, Solomon must

have realized that he was immanuel in the temple he built, just as God in the

dark (출20:18-21) was present in the wilderness (출40:34,35) and thought of

the promise that "David's stomach will be strong forever (삼하7:16).

이에 솔로몬은 봉헌식에 참여한 회중 앞에서 성전은 하나님께서 친히 그의 손으로

세우신 것이라고 선언합니다(13). 솔로몬이 때를 정하고 재료를 준비하고 사람을

부려서 7년 동안 지었는데 이것은 여호와께서 자신의 이름을 둘 집을 친히 짓겠다고

하셨고 그 약속대로 이루셨다는 것입니다(15).

Solomon then declares in front of the congregation who participated in the dedication

ceremony that the temple was built by God himself by his hand (13). Solomon had

set the time, prepared the ingredients, and built them for seven years, and this is that

Jehovah himself promised to build a house to put his name on, and he fulfilled it (15).

과거 하나님께서는 자신이 거할 집을 마련하는 데는 관심이 없으셨고 관심은 오직

자신의 통치를 대신할 신실한 다윗을 세우시는 일이었습니다.(16)어느 날 다윗이 선한

마음으로 성전을 지어드리겠다고 제안을 하지만(17), 단박에 거절하셨고, 당신께서

직접 다윗을 위하여 집을 지어줄 것이라고 약속하셨답니다(18).

In the past, God was not interested in buying a house for himself, and the interest was

only in establishing a faithful David to replace his rule. (16) One day David offered to

build a temple with a good heart (17), but he refused at once, and promised that you

would build a house for David (18).

하나님의 말씀인즉 내가 네 마음은 받지만“여호와께서 내 아버지 다윗에게 이르시되

네가 내 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축할 마음이 있으니 이 마음이 네게 있는 것이 좋도다.

그러나 너는 그 성전을 건축하지 못할 것이요 네 몸에서 낳을 네 아들 그가 내 이름을

위하여 성전을 건축하리라 하시더니 이제 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 이루시도다

The word of God, I receive your heart, but the Lord said to my father David, "It is good

that this heart is with you because you are willing to build a temple for my name. But

you will not build the temple Your son, whom you will give birth to, said that he will build

a temple for my name, and now he will do as the Lord has said.

내가 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 내 아버지 다윗을 이어서 일어나 이스라엘의 왕위에 앉고

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축하고 내가 또 그 곳에 우리 조상

들을 애급 땅에서 인도하여 내실 때에 그들과 세우신바 여호와의 언약을 넣은 궤를 위하여

한 처소를 설치하였노라(18-21). “

As Jehovah said, I stood up from my father David to the throne of Israel, and built a

temple for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, and set up a place there for the ark

where the covenant of Jehovah was put in place when I led our ancestors from the land

of mourning (18-21)

그곳은 바로'자신의 이름을 둘 곳'으로 제한하십니다. 하나님은 성전 안에 거하시지만 결코

성전만의 공간에 갇힐 수 없는 자유의 하나님이시기 때문입니다. 해서, 솔로몬도 성전이

여호와의 이름을 위한 곳이며, 언약궤를 보관할 처소라고 말한 것입니다. 결국 솔로몬이

지은 성전은 사람이 만든 건물이고 하나님은 그 공간에 거하실 수 없습니다.

That's where you limit your name to. Because God is the God of Liberty who dwells in the

temple but can never be trapped in the temple's own space. Solomon also said that the

temple was a place for the name of the Lord and a place to keep the Ark of the Covenant.

After all, Solomon's temple is a man-made building, and God cannot live in that space.

그러므로 솔로몬이 하나님이 거하실 처소라는 것은 사람의 손으로 지은 집이 아니라

하나님께서 친히 세우시는 집이어야 함을 다윗 언약을 통하여 솔로몬이 반복하고 있습니다.

그 집이란 출애굽 할 때에 이미 ‘모세의 찬양‘에서 하나님의 거하실 처소를 만드시기 위하여

어린 양의 피로 구속하여 내셨습니다.

Therefore, Solomon repeats through the covenant of David that Solomon should be the

place where God will live, not the house built by man's hands, but the house built by God

himself. The house was already taken into custody in the blood of lambs in order to make

a place for God's residence in the praise of Moses during his exodus.

결국 건물성전이란 하나의 무너져야 하는 모형일 뿐입니다. 말씀을 통해 통치하시는 참

성전이 목표지요. 그래서 언약궤가 지성소에 두는 것으로 성전의 완성을 보여줍니다.

아무리 왕궁이 멋지게 지어지고 왕정이 튼튼해져도 불순종으로 언약이 깨지면 도로

아미타불이 아닙니까?

After all, a building temple is just one model that needs to be broken down. The goal is

to rule through words. So the Ark of the Covenant shows the completion of the temple

by placing it in the Holy Place. No matter how beautiful the palace is built and the monarchy

becomes strong, if the covenant is broken due to disobedience, isn't it Amitabha Buddha?

나는 하나님의 작정가운데 뜻을 살피고 그 인도를 따라가고 있는가?

여호와가 영원히 거하실 처소(12-13)

하나님의 임재에 대한 솔로몬의 화답(14-21)

그 때에 솔로몬이 이르되(12a)

여호와께서 캄캄한 데 계시겠다. 말씀 하였사오나(12b)

내가 참으로 주를 위하여(13a)

계실 성전을 건축하였사오니(13b)

-

주께서 영원히 계실 처소로소이다 하고(13c)

얼굴을 돌이켜(14a)

이스라엘의 온 회중을 위하여 축복하니(14b)

그 때에 이스라엘의 온 회중이 서 있더라(14c)

왕이 이르되(15a)

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 송축할지로다(15b)

여호와께서 그의 입으로(15c)

내 아버지 다윗에게 말씀하신 것을(15d)

이제 그의 손으로 이루셨도다. 이르시기를(15e)

내가 내 백성 이스라엘을(16a)

애급에서 인도하여 낸 날부터(16b)

내 이름을 둘 만한 집을 건축하기 위하여(16c)

이스라엘 모든 지파 가운데에서(16d)

아무 성읍도 택하지 아니하고(16e)

다만 다윗을 택하여(16f)

내 백성 이스라엘을 다스리게 하였노라 하신지라(16g)

내 아버지 다윗이(17a)

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여(17b)

성전을 건축할 마음이 있었더니(17c)

여호와께서 내 아버지 다윗에게 이르시되(18a)

-

네가 내 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축할 마음이 있으니(18b)

이 마음이 네게 있는 것이 좋도다(18c)

그러나 너는 그 성전을 건축하지 못할 것이요(19a)

네 몸에서 낳을 네 아들(19b)

-

그가 내 이름을 위하여(19c)

성전을 건축하리라 하시더니(19d)

이제 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 이루시도다(20a)

내가 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로(20b)

-

내 아버지 다윗을 이어서(20c)

일어나 이스라엘의 왕위에 앉고(20d)

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여(20e)

성전을 건축하고(20f)

내가 또 그 곳에(21a)

우리 조상들을(21b)

애급 땅에서 인도하여 내실 때에(21c)

그들과 세우신바(21d)

여호와의 언약을 넣은 궤를 위하여(21e)

한 처소를 설치하였노라(21f)

제한받지 않으신 하나님,

하나님이 솔로몬을 통해 지은 성전이 이스라엘 백성에게 최고의

선물이 되었듯이, 이제 예수님의 성육신과 성령의 임재로 새로운

성전을 지으시고 우리를 초대하였사오니 믿음으로 받게 하시고,

통치에 복종하는 착한 백성이 되게 하옵소서.

Unrestricted God,
Just as God's temple built through Solomon became the best gift

for the people of Israel, now build a new temple with the holy body

of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit, and let us receive it

in faith and be good people who obey the rule.
