3. 휴전선은 세계 분단의 섭리적 대속을 위한 민족적 십자가

여기서 잠깐 예수님의 십자가형에 관하여 언급하기로 하겠습니다. 여러분은 예수님과 함께 두 사람의 강도가 십자가에 달린 것을 아실 것입니다. 여기에도 하나님의 뜻이 있었던 것입니다.

우편 강도는 예수님을 증거하여 선 편이 되었고, 좌편 강도는 예수님을 비방함으로써 악 편이 되었습니다. 특히 우편 강도는 좌편 강도에 비하여 예수님을 옹호하면서 좌편 강도를 끝까지 비방했습니다. 이리하여 십자가는 하나님과 사탄의 대결의 결전장이요, 모든 문제 해결의 초점이 되게 된 것입니다.

길이요 진리요 생명인 예수님이 십자가에 달리셔서 고통 중에도 원수를 사랑하며 양편에 선악을 각각 거느리셨다는 것은 대단히 깊은 섭리의 뜻이 있었던 것입니다. 거기에는 하나님의 사랑을 중심한 화해 원리, 통일의 원칙이 내포되어 있었습니다.

그것은 선 편과 악 편의 대립을 위시하여 모든 종류의 대립·투쟁·충돌은 희생적인 사랑에 의해서만 화해될 수 있고 통일될 수 있음을 보여 준 것이며, 어떠한 어려운 상황 하에서도 하나님의 사랑을 실천할 수 있어야만 죄인을 회개시킬 수 있음을 보여 주는 것입니다.

그리고 십자가를 중심한 좌·우편 강도는 먼 앞날의 역사적 종말점에서 현실적인 선악의 대립으로 결실될 종자의 입장이기도 하다는 사실을 이해하셔야 하겠습니다. 선 편의 우익과 악 편의 좌익이라는 이름이 금세기에 나타남도 예수님의 십자가에 기인하는 것입니다.

오늘날 선 편의 자유진영과 악 편의 공산진영의 출현은 이미 2천년 전에 십자가를 중심하고 보여 주셨던 것이며, 뿐만 아니라 좌우 강도의 대립은 그 후 수많은 대립 투쟁의 원형이 되기도 하였던 것입니다. 오늘날의 좌익과 우익이라는 이름의 역사적 기원은 실로 십자가의 좌·우편의 강도에 있었던 것입니다.

특히 우편 강도는 생명을 걸고 좌편 강도에 대항하면서 예수를 증거하였기 때문에 죽어서 부활하여 낙원에 가 있는 것처럼, 오늘날 우편 강도와 같은 입장에 있는 우익의 대표인 미국이 좌편 강도에 해당하는 소련에 대하여 끝까지 강력한 대결을 견지해 나간다면 반드시 하나님의 공인을 받아서 지상천국에 들어갈 수 있을 것입니다. 그것을 보여 주는 것입니다.

십자가상의 선 편과 악 편의 대립으로 상징되는 현실의 모든 대립과 투쟁의 상황은 한반도의 휴전선이 그대로 집약적으로 표현하고 있습니다. 따라서 남북으로 갈라진 휴전선은 세계 분단의 섭리적 대속을 위한 민족적 십자가인 것입니다. 여기서 한국은 십자가상의 예수님에 해당하며 재림의 기지이기도 합니다.

3. 休戦ラインは世界分断の摂理的代贖のための民族的十字架

ここでしばらく、イエス様の十字架の刑について触れてみようと思います。皆様はイエス様と共に二人の強盗が十字架にかけられたことは御存じのことと思います。ここにも神様のみ旨があったのです。

右の強盗はイエス様を証して善の側になったのであり、左の強盗はイエス様を誹謗することによって悪の側になりました。特に右の強盗は左の強盗に比べ、イエス様を擁護しながら、左の強盗を最後までたしなめました。このようにして十字架は、神様とサタンの対決の決戦場にあり、すべての問題の解決の焦点となるようになったのです。

道であり真理であり命であられるイエス様が、十字架にかけられ、その苦痛の中でも怨讐を愛しながら、両側に善と悪をそれぞれ引き連れたことには、非常に深い摂理の意義があります。そこには神様の愛を中心にした和解の原理、統一の原則が内包されているのです。

それは、善の側と悪の側の対立をはじめとして、すべての種類の対立、闘争、衝突は、犠牲的な愛によってのみ和解し、統一されることを示しているのであり、いかなる困難な状況下においても神様の愛を実践できてこそ、罪人を悔い改めさせ得ることを示してくれているのです。

そして、十字架を中心とした左右の強盗は、遠い将来の歴史的終未点において現実的な善悪の対立として結実する、その種子の立場だという事実を理解しなければなりません。「右翼」と「左翼」の名称が今世紀に現れたのも、イエス様の十字架に起因するものです。

今日の善の側の自由陣営と悪の側の共産陣営の出現は、既に二千年前に十字架を中心として見せてくださったのであり、のみならずこの左右の強盗の対立は、その後の数多くの対立、闘争の原型にもなったのです。今日の左翼と右翼という名称の歴史的起源は実に十字架の左右の強盗にあったのです。

特に、命を懸けて左の強盗に対抗しながらイエス様を証した右の強盗が、死んでから復活して楽園に行ったように、今日、右の強盗と同じ立場にあるアメリカが、左の強盗に該当するソ連に対して、最後まで強力な対決を堅持していったならば、必ず神様の公認を受けて地上天国に入ることができるのです。そのことを示しているのです。

十字架上の善の側と悪の側の対立として象徴される、現実のすべての対立と闘争の状況は、韓半島の休戦ラインがそのまま集約的に表現しています。ですから、南北に分断された休戦ラインは、世界の分断の摂理的な代贖のための民族的十字架なのです。ここで韓半島は、十字架上のイエス様に該当し、再臨の基地でもあります。

3. The thirty-eighth parallel is a national level cross

As you know, two thieves were crucified with Jesus. The thief on the left accused Jesus, while the thief on the right testified to Jesus and defended him, admonishing the thief on the left. Thus, the thief on the right came to represent the side of goodness, while the thief on the left came to represent the side of evil, and in this way the crucifixion was the focal point in the confrontation between God and Satan.

There is deep providential significance in the fact that Jesus, who was the way, the truth and the life, and who loved even his enemies, suffered on the cross with good and evil on either side.

This reveals the principle of reconciliation and unity, centering on God’s love. It teaches us that the struggling and warring sides can be reconciled and united through sacrificial love. We can also learn from this the lesson that if we practice God’s love no matter how difficult the situation, we can lead any sinner to repentance.

We must also understand that the two thieves represent seeds that bear the fruits of good and evil that will confront each other at the consummation of human history. The appearance in the Last Days of the right wing, or the free world, as the side of goodness, and the left wing, or the communist world, as the side of evil, originated at the crucifixion of Jesus.

Moreover, this confrontation between the two thieves is the prototype of many subsequent conflicts and struggles. The designations “right wing” and “left wing” actually have their historical origin in the thieves on the right and the left of the cross.

The thief on the right, as he was dying, testified to Jesus and opposed the thief on the left. Consequently, after his death, he was resurrected and entered into paradise. This indicates that if the United States, standing as the thief on the right, maintains to the last moment a strong stance against communism, then it will receive God’s approval and will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven on earth.

The actual situation of today’s conflicts and struggles, whose prototype was the opposition between good and evil at the crucifixion, is intensely expressed by the current Military Demarcation Line across the Korean Peninsula.

Therefore, the thirty-eighth parallel separating North and South Korea represents the cross that the Korean nation must bear in order to providentially redeem the divided world. The Korean nation corresponds to Jesus on the cross, even as it is the foundation for the Second Coming of Christ.
