Step 1: Install Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp utility

1. Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from the following link and save it on the desktop.

2. Right click the downloaded file msicuu2 and select rename. Please rename it as msicuu2.exe.
3. Double click the msicuu2.exe file to install CleanUp Utility. (Vista/Win7: Right click msicuu2.exe file and select "Run as Administrator" to install CleanUp Utility)
Step 2: Remove Microsoft Silverlight

1. Click "Start"-> "(All) Programs"->"Windows Install Clean Up".
2. See if you can find Microsoft Silverlight. If so, remove it.
3. Restart the computer and see if the problem still exists.
After performing these steps, please move on to the following suggestions to install the last version of Microsoft Silverlight.
Note: Once we removed Microsoft Silverlight, some application which needs Microsoft Silverlight runtime database could lost its function. It is just a temporary issue. The function will be back after reinstalling Microsoft Silverlight.

Note: When the "File Download" window appears, please click "Save", and follow the directions to save the file on the Desktop. After downloading all the setup files, please double-click on each one to install them.
