디모데전서3장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 디모데전서3장

1. 남자가 감독의 직분을 사모하면 선한 일을 사모한다는 이 말은 참된 말이로다.

This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

2. 그러므로 감독은 반드시 책망 받을 것이 없으며 한 아내의 남편이며 깨어 있으며 맑은 정신을 가지고 있으며 행실이

    바르며 손님 대접하기를 힘쓰며 가르치는 재능이 있으며

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 

3. 자기를 술에 내주지 아니하며 구타하지 아니하며 더러운 이익을 탐내지 아니하며 오직 인내하며 말다툼하지 아니하며

    탐욕을 부리지 아니하며

Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 

4. 자기 집을 잘 다스려서 자기 자녀들을 모든 위엄으로 복종시키는 자라야 할 것이며

One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

5. (남자가 자기 집을 다스릴 줄 알지 못하면 어찌 [하나님]의 교회를 돌볼 수 있으리요?)

if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?

6. 초신자는 아니 되나니 이것은 그가 교만으로 높아져서 마귀의 정죄에 빠지지 아니하게 하려 함이라.

Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 

7. 또한 감독은 반드시 밖에 있는 자들로부터 좋은 평판을 받아야 하리니 이것은 그가 비방과 마귀의 올무에 빠지지 아니

    하게 하려 함이라.

Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

8. 이와 같이 집사들도 반드시 신중하며 한 입으로 두 말하지 아니하며 자기를 많은 술에 내주지 아니하며 더러운 이익을

    탐내지 아니하며

Likewise [must] the deacons [be] grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;

9. 순수한 양심 속에 믿음의 신비를 간직한 자라야 할지니라.

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

10. 이 사람들도 먼저 시험해 보고 그 뒤에 책망 받을 것이 없는 것으로 드러나면 그들이 집사의 직분을 수행하게

      할지니라.

And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being [found] blameless.

11. 이와 같이 그들의 아내들도 반드시 신중하며 헐뜯는 자가 되지 아니하며 맑은 정신을 가지고 있으며 모든 일에서

      신실한 자라야 할지니라.

Even so [must their] wives [be] grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

12. 집사들은 한 아내의 남편이 되어 자기 자녀들과 자기 집을 잘 다스릴지니라.

Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

13. 집사의 직분을 잘 수행한 사람들은 자기를 위해 좋은 지위를 얻으며 또 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 믿음에서 큰

      담대함을 얻느니라.

For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 

14. 내가 속히 너에게 가기를 바라면서 이것들을 너에게 쓰노라.

These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

15. 그러나 내가 오랫동안 지체하면 네가 [하나님]의 집에서 어떻게 처신해야 할지 알게 하려 하노니 이 집은 살아 계신

      [하나님]의 교회요 진리의 기둥과 터니라.

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 

16. 하나님의 성품의 신비는 논쟁의 여지가 없이 위대하도다. [하나님]께서 육체 안에 나타나시고 [성령] 안에서 의롭게

되시고 천사들에게 보이시고 이방인들에게 선포되시고 세상에서 믿기시고 영광 속으로 올려져서 영접을 받으셨느니라.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
