팔라비: "이란 이슬람 공화국은 아랍에미리트, 바레인, 카타르, 쿠웨이트, 오만, 요르단, 이라크, 사우디아라비아를 향해 미사일을 발사했습니다. 우리 아랍 이웃 국가들을 겨냥하고 있는 것입니다. 이러한 주권 침해는 용납할 수 없으며, 우리는 이를 강력히 규탄합니다. 하지만 이는 새로운 일이 아닙니다. 이것이 바로 이슬람 공화국의 본질이며, 그렇기에 이 정권은 반드시 종식되어야 합니다.

거의 50년 동안 이 테러 정권은 우리 지역 전역에 혼란과 유혈 사태를 초래했습니다. 아사드를 지원하여 시리아를 무덤으로 만들었고, 레바논에 헤즈볼라를 국가 내 국가로 만들었습니다. 후티 반군을 무장시켜 아라비아 반도를 불안정하게 만들었고, 이라크 내 민병대를 지원하여 이라크의 주권을 약화시켰습니다. 사우디아라비아와 아랍에미리트의 경제 중심지를 공격하기도 했습니다. 이 모든 것은 이란 국민의 바람이 아니라, 우리 나라를 점령한 정권의 뜻에 따른 것입니다.

하지만 이제 상황은 근본적으로 바뀌었습니다. 아사드는 물러났고, 헤즈볼라는... 이란은 초토화되었고, 정권의 핵무기 프로그램은 후퇴했으며, 경제는 나락으로 떨어지고 있습니다. 이 정권의 침략을 지탱해 온 기반이 무너지고 있습니다. 이란 국민은 이 순간을 맞이하기까지 피의 대가를 치렀습니다. 정권은 단 이틀 만에 수만 명의 동포를 학살했지만, 국민을 굴복시키지는 못했습니다. 오히려 정권 자체가 무너지고 있습니다.

오늘날 역사는 우리에게 미래의 잠재력을 일깨워 줍니다. 혁명 이전, 이란은 파이살 왕부터 셰이크 자이드, 후세인 왕, 사다트 대통령에 이르기까지 아랍 지도자들과 긴밀히 협력했습니다. 오만에서는 제 아버지가 카부스 술탄이 반란으로부터 나라를 지키는 것을 도왔습니다. 우리는 그때 진정한 파트너였습니다. 우리는 다시 진정한 파트너가 될 것입니다.

이란 국민은 저에게 정권 교체 후의 과도기를 이끌어 달라고 요청했습니다. 저는 그 책임을 받아들였습니다. 국민이 저에게 부여한 중요한 임무 중 하나는 국가와 외교 관계를 정상화하는 것입니다. 저는 반드시 그렇게 할 것입니다. 질서 있는 과도기를 만들고, 국가를 정상화하는 것이 제 임무입니다. 이란은 안정되었고, 이란 국민은 투표를 통해 자신들의 미래를 결정할 것입니다. 우리는 과거의 과도기에서 저지른 실수를 되풀이하지 않을 것입니다. 바트당 제거 시나리오는 피하고, 가능한 한 많은 관료와 공무원을 과도기 정부에 유임시킬 것입니다.

이란 국민은 막대한 대가를 치르고 자신들의 선택을 했습니다. 이제 저는 아랍 세계의 친구들에게 우리와 함께해 달라고, 우리의 과도 정부를 인정하고 협력할 준비를 해달라고 요청합니다. 우리는 국가를 재건할 때 영토 확장을 위해서가 아니라 이란 국민을 위해 봉사하기 위해 노력할 것입니다. 우리의 외교 관계는 이념 수출이 아닌 상호 존중과 공동의 이익에 기반할 것입니다. 우리는 지역 및 세계 경제에 재통합하여 모든 회원국 국민의 번영을 증진시킬 것입니다.

이란 국민과 함께하는 것은 자선이 아닙니다. 이는 우리 지역을 세계에서 가장 안정적이고 안전하며 번영하는 지역으로 만들기 위한 전략적 투자입니다. 함께라면 우리 아이들이 자랑스럽게 물려받을 중동을 건설할 수 있습니다. 우리와 함께 이 새로운 길을 걸어갑시다.

 THE RETURN OF THE LION: Reza Pahlavi Accepts Mandate to Lead Iran’s Transition 

History has reached a fever pitch. As the Islamic Republic’s pillars of terror crumble across the Middle East, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has officially accepted the responsibility to serve as Iran's Transitional Leader.In a powerful address directed at the Iranian people and the Arab world, Pahlavi signaled the end of a 47-year occupation and the birth of a new, sovereign era.Pahlavi: "The Islamic Republic has launched missiles at the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. It is targeting our Arab neighbors. These violations of their sovereignty are unacceptable, and we condemn them. But this is nothing new. This is who the Islamic Republic has always been, and this is why it must end.For nearly five decades, this terrorist regime has sown chaos and bloodshed across our region. It propped up Assad, turning Syria into a graveyard. It planted Hezbollah as a state within a state in Lebanon. It armed the Houthis to destabilize the Arabian Peninsula. It empowered militias in Iraq to undermine Iraqi sovereignty. It attacked the economic hubs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. None of this has ever been the desire of the Iranian people, but rather that of a regime occupying our country.Now, however, the landscape has fundamentally shifted. Assad is gone, Hezbollah has been decimated, the regime's military nuclear program has been set back, its economy is in a freefall. The pillars of this regime's aggression are crumbling. The Iranian people have paid the price in blood to reach this moment. The regime massacred tens of thousands of my compatriots in just two days, but it didn’t break the people. Instead, the regime itself is breaking.Today, history reminds us of our future potential. Before the revolution, Iran worked closely with Arab leaders—from King Faisal to Sheikh Zayed, to King Hussein, to President Sadat. In Oman, my father helped Sultan Qaboos defend his country against insurgency. We were true partners then. We will be true partners again.The Iranian people have called on me to lead the transition after the regime is gone. I have accepted that responsibility. Part of their great mandate to me is to return our nation and our foreign relations to normalcy. I will do exactly that. My commitment is to ensure the transition is orderly, the country is stabilized, and Iranians determine their future through the ballot box. We will not repeat the mistakes of past transitions. We will avoid de-Baathification scenarios and maintain as many bureaucrats and public servants in transition as possible.Iranians have made their choice at an enormous price. Now I ask our friends in the Arab world to join us, to prepare to recognize and engage our transitional government. We will rebuild our nation not for expansion, but to serve the Iranian people. We will base our diplomatic relations not on exportation of ideology, but on mutual respect and shared interests. We will reintegrate into the regional and global economy to increase prosperity for the citizens of all of our nations.Standing with the Iranian people is not charity. It is a strategic investment in making our region one of the most stable, secure, and prosperous in the world. Together, we can build a Middle East our children will be proud to inherit.
