G: That was a delicious dinner. I was thinking of making my favorite comfort food on Thusday, if you want to come over.
L: It depends, what's your go-to dish for the winter?/ G: I'm making a hearty beef stew with lots potatoes and onions in it.
L: My mom always said it's the kind of food that sticks to your ribs. I have the perfect red wine to go with it.
G: I take it you're coming over on Thursday?/  L: You won't be able to keep me away!
S: If they stop tourism to these popula destinations, won't the locals lose their income?
P: I don't think anyone wants to stop it altogether, they just want to stem the tide of tourists to keep it more manageable.
S: How can they do that?
P: Well, Venice started charging a €5 tourist fee to enter the city. But I doubt it will be a barrier to entry for most people.
S: There must be a better solution./ P: Yes, but if they do anything too drastic, it will have a ripple effect throughout the economy.
I: You look a lot happier today, Maria. Did you join one of the campus clubs?
M: I did! Since I'm majoring in environmental science, I joined a club that does a lot of river cleanups and tree planting.
I: It sounds like you found some like-minded people.
M: Yeah, and they're a lot of fun to hang out with. It isn't all about parties and stuff like that.
I: That's great! I think you're going to make the most of your semester in this country./ M: That's the plant.
H: You're looking really toned, Gia. Are you sure you aren't going to the gym?
G: I'm definitely not going to the gym. My daughter and I take turns on the rebounder every morning.
H: That's it? I guess it boils down to your commitment to whatever exercise you do.
G: Exactly! The rebound is fun and it doesn't take a toll on the knees like running does.
H: It must also be nice to not have to leave the house to work out./ G: Yeah, and I can crank up whatever music I want
O: So, what was the first month as a voice actor like?/ J: Well, the learning curve wasn't too steep
O: Did you have actual lessons or was it on-the jop training?
J: I definitely learned on the job. I got paired with Amy on some educational jobs and she showed me the ropes.
O: What kinds of things did you need to learn that most people wouldn't know?
J: The most important skill had to learn was to be able to read a script cold, meaning one I've never seen before.
