Falling Asleep
Have you ever seen a movie or a television show where the hypnotist snaps his fingers, and the patient instantly falls asleep? I know people who can just "turn off" when it's time to go bed. It's like they are awake one minute, they say, "food night," and then, BOOM, they are just "out."
I envy people who can just conk out when it's bedtime. I don's really toss and turn when it's time to hit the hay, but I can't fall asleep right away.
But at least I almost never get insomnia. It might take me a while to fall asleep, but fortunately I never stay up all night long. I have a friend who gets insomnia sometimes. He looks like a zombie the next day when he can't get any sleep.
The good news is I'm not a light sleeper. I usually don't sake up when there is a little noise. Once I co fall asleep, I'm in dreamland until the morning.
Some people are very sensitive to noise when they sleep. If there is any kind of noise, they wake up instantly, and sometimes they can't get back to sleep.
Not me. I sleep fairly deeply until the alarm goes off. I know people that are even more extreme. They sleep so deeply that it's hard far them to get up.
