David Easily Overcame Goliath(1 Samuel 17:31~37)
The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.“ Saul said to David, ”Go, and the LORD be with you.“(37)
Hymn #337 I Must Tell Jesus(Unified Hymn 363)
The Israelites thought that once they entered Canaan, great blessings would come. However, as 14 generations of leaders passed, they suffered hardship from the Philistines. Goliath invaded and mocked those who believed in the Lord. David, who heard those words, took care of Goliath at once. This is the answer you must receive. Believers not being able to enjoy God’s power and evangelism is the greatest crime. After David first received the covenant from Samuel, he prepared 300% power. Like David, you must have the power of being deeply moved by the Spirit of the Lord. With this power, there’s no need to worry about your future like Joseph, Moses, and Samuel. You simply need to challenge yourself as you enjoy the covenant and wait for the time schedule. In order to gain this strength, you must raise three types of Bartizans.
1. Raise Your Personal Absolute Bartizan
Before going out into the world, you must raise your personal absolute Bartizan. David deeply meditated on the Word in the fields(Psalm 78:70~72) and he praised God(1 Samuel 16:23). He also developed skills in protecting the sheep(1 Samuel1 7:34~35 ). David received the future and a sure covenant from Samuel. At that moment, of power was established in him(1 Samuel 16:13).
2. Go While Carrying the Bartizan that Saves the Field
Because God’s time schedule surely comes, you must carry a Bartizan of power that saves the world and overcomes darkness. Goliath insulted God for 40 days. David, who was running his father’s errand, heard those words. Though everyone around tried to stop him, David defeated Goliath in the name of the Lord.
3. Hold Onto the Future Bartizan that God has Prepared
From this point onward, many answers along with suffering began to come to David. In the midst of these suffering, David confessed Psalm 23. He also prepared for the future Bartizan. He built 1,000 bartizans that could guard the nation and sustain prayer, and he also prepared to build the temple.
David had faith greater than a king even in his youth, and that faith continued into his old age. You too must enjoy the time schedule of the Throne and make your resolution to raise this Bartizan.
