에베소서 4:7–12

우리 각 사람에게 그리스도의 선물의 분량대로 은혜를 주셨나니 그러므로 이르기를 그가 위로 올라가실 때에 사로잡힌 자를 사로잡고 사람들에게 선물을 주셨다 하였도다 올라가셨다 하였은즉 땅 아랫 곳으로 내리셨던 것이 아니면 무엇이냐 내리셨던 그가 곧 모든 하늘 위에 오르신 자니 이는 만물을 충만케 하려 하심이니라 그가 혹은 사도로, 혹은 선지자로, 혹은 복음 전하는 자로, 혹은 목사와 교사로 주셨으니 이는 성도를 온전케 하며 봉사의 일을 하게 하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우려 하심이라

창조주 하나님께서 친히 세상에 오셔서 인류를 구원하는 사역을 완수하셨습니다.

이는 곧 예수 그리스도께서 한 아기로 세상에 태어나 복음을 전파하시고, 십자가에서 죽으심으로 인류의 죄를 대속하시고, 부활하신 후 다시 천국으로 올라가신 것을 의미합니다.

죄로 인해 저주와 사망에 사로잡혀 있던 인류가 주님의 대속의 은혜로 영원한 멸망에서 벗어날 길을 얻게 되었습니다.

그리고 주님께서는 승천하실 때 믿는 자들에게 자신의 뜻을 따라 여러 가지 은사와 직분을 주셨습니다.

예수님은 본래 천국에서 내려오신 하나님이시기 때문에, 그분께서 다시 천국으로 올라가셨다고 말씀하신 것입니다.

죄와 미움과 사망으로 가득했던 세상을 주님께서 생명과 사랑과 은혜로 다시 충만하게 하십니다.

사탄의 지배 아래 놓였던 세상을 하나님의 나라로 변화시키시는 것입니다.

주님께서는 하나님의 나라를 전파하시기 위해 성령으로 다시 오셔서, 자신을 믿는 자들을 하나님의 일꾼으로 세우십니다.

복음을 전파하기 위해 주님께서는 사도와 선지자와 복음 전하는 자와 목사와 교사 등 여러 직분을 주셨습니다.

그리고 각자에게 맡겨진 사명을 감당할 수 있도록 필요한 능력과 은사도 주셨습니다.

이 모든 직분과 은사는 성도들을 온전하게 하고, 하나님의 일을 수행하게 하며, 그리스도의 몸인 교회를 세우기 위한 것입니다.

모든 참된 교회는 그리스도의 몸이며, 그리스도는 교회의 머리가 되십니다.

그러므로 모든 교회는 머리이신 예수 그리스도의 말씀을 따라 움직여야 합니다.

교회의 머리는 사람이 아니라 오직 예수 그리스도이십니다. 교회는 인간의 생각과 교리가 아니라 오직 주님의 말씀에 순종해야 합니다.

그리스도의 말씀을 버리고 인간의 교리를 따라가는 교회는 더 이상 그리스도의 몸으로서의 역할을 감당할 수 없습니다.

참된 교회는 오직 예수 그리스도의 말씀에 순종하며, 성령께서 주시는 능력으로 복음을 전파하고, 사랑을 실천하며, 하나님의 나라를 세워 가는 교회입니다.

Ephesians 4:7–12

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.” (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

God the Creator Himself came into the world and completed the work of salvation for humanity.

This means that Jesus Christ was born into the world as a baby, preached the gospel, died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity, rose from the dead, and then ascended back to Heaven.

Humanity, which had been held captive by the curse and death because of sin, was given a way to escape eternal destruction through the grace of the Lord's atoning sacrifice.

And when the Lord ascended to Heaven, He gave various spiritual gifts and ministries to believers according to His will.

Because Jesus is God who originally came down from Heaven, Scripture says that He ascended back to Heaven.

The Lord is filling the world, which was full of sin, hatred, and death, with life, love, and grace once again.

He is transforming the world that was under Satan's dominion into the Kingdom of God.

To proclaim the Kingdom of God, the Lord has come again as the Holy Spirit and appoints those who believe in Him as workers of God.

To spread the gospel, the Lord has given various ministries, including apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.

He has also given each person the necessary power and spiritual gifts to fulfill the mission entrusted to them.

All these ministries and spiritual gifts are given to equip the saints, enable them to carry out God's work, and build up the Church, which is the body of Christ.

Every true church is the body of Christ, and Christ is the head of the Church.

Therefore, every church must follow the words of Jesus Christ, who is its head.

The head of the Church is not a human being, but Jesus Christ alone. The Church must obey the words of the Lord alone, rather than human thoughts and doctrines.

A church that abandons the words of Christ and follows human doctrines can no longer fulfill its role as the body of Christ.

A true church is one that obeys the words of Jesus Christ alone, proclaims the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit, puts love into practice, and builds up the Kingdom of God.
