신명기29:1-13 존재 가치, 존재 이유

신29:1

의미를 찾으려고 해도 존재의 이유와 가치를 찾지 못하는 허무함이 팽배한 4월입니다. 의미는 자신에게서 나오지 않고 사랑하는 대상으로부터 발견되기에 무엇을 사랑하고 있는지 질문해야 합니다. 영원한 언약으로 사랑에 잇대어 있을 때 비로소 오늘 사는 의미를 발견할 것입니다. April is full of futility in which you cannot find the reason and value of existence even if you try to find meaning. You must ask what you love because meaning does not come from yourself but is found from the object you love. Only when you are connected to love through an eternal covenant will you discover the meaning of living today.

성경 묵상 글 포스 팅을 하느라고 9년 전에 써 놓은 것을 읽다보면 상당이 많은 부분이 적용 내용조차 판박이인 경우가 많습니다. 그 때마다 두 가지 생각이 드는데 저도 참 “악동이다“는 것과 그동안 잊고 살던 과거가 내 앞으로 성큼 다가오는 것을 경험하면서 혼자서 멋쩍어집니다. 모압 땅에 선 모세는 시내 산 언약을 새롭게 하기 위하여 하나님께서 과거에 행하신 일들을 상기합니다. 알파요 오메가 이신 그 분의 과거는 더 이상 옛 기억이 아니라 미래에 대한 약속이요, 오늘을 위한 부르심이 아닙니까? 결혼식을 마친 신부는 시 시대,

새로운 환경, 남편의 수준에 걸맞게 새로운 조건이 주어져야 한답니다. Standing in the land of Moab, Moses recalled what God had done in the past to renew the covenant of the mountain in the city. Isn't his past no longer an old memory but a promise of the future and a call for the present? After a wedding, the bride must be given new conditions to live up to her time, new environment and husband's standards.

제일 먼저 보고 듣고 친히 경험한 것들을 기억해야 할 것입니다. 결혼한 신부는 언약의 대상인 자신의 남편이 누구인지 아는 것이 핵심입니다. 애급에서 나온 것도, 불임의 땅 광야에서 40년 동안 옷이 낡아지지 않고 떡과 독주가 없이 초자연적인 음료와 음식으로 생존할 수 있었던 것은 순전히 창조의 하나님 그 분의 은혜이었습니다. The first thing you should see, hear, and remember what you personally experienced. The key for a married bride is to know who her husband is, who is the object of the covenant. It was purely the God of Creation's grace to survive 40 years in the wilderness, a land of infertility, without worn out clothes and rice cakes and alcohol.

40년 전 광야 1세대들은 오늘의 부르심에 순종하지 못했습니다. 이제는 그들 차례입니다. 우리 차례입니다. 하나님께서는 오늘도

우리들을 부르고 계십니다. 순종하기에 오늘보다 더 좋은 시간은 없습니다. 구원이 있었기에 언약이 있습니다. 구원은 한 주인의 손아귀에서 이스라엘을 빼내어 새로운 주인에게로 옮기신 사건입니다. Forty years ago, the first generation of the wilderness failed to obey today's call. Now it's their turn. It's our turn. God is calling us again today. There is no better time to obey than today. There is a covenant because of salvation. Salvation is the event that took Israel out of the grasp of one master and transferred it to a new master.

그것이 언약의 성격을 결정해 줍니다. 하나님과 이스라엘은 동등한 관계가 아닙니다. 구원자와 구원을 받은 백성의 관계입니다. 하나님이 먼저 행하신 은혜와 사랑의 관계입니다. 하나님은 광야에서도 자신의 역할에 충실하셨습니다. 아이를 낳은 후 신실하게

그 아이를 양육하는 부모처럼, 철없는 이스라엘을 광야에서 하나님의 사람으로 키우셨습니다. It determines the nature of the covenant. God and Israel are not equal. It is the relationship between the savior and the saved people. It is the relationship of grace and love that God did first. God was faithful to his role even in the wilderness. He raised immature Israel as God's person in the wilderness, just like his parents who faithfully raised him after giving birth to a child.

죽음의 광야에서 생명을 만끽하게 하셨습니다. 옷과 신발을 주셨고, 먹을 것과 마실 것을 제때 주셨습니다. 하나님으로부터 모든 것이 나온다는 것을 경험하게 하셨습니다. 가나안 동편 땅을 두 지파 반이 차지하도록 하심으로써, 가나안 서편 땅도 믿음으로 차지할 수 있음을 보여주셨습니다. 그 땅에서도 우상이 아닌 하나님을 의지해야 한다는 것을 보여주셨습니다. He made me enjoy life in the desert of death. He gave me clothes and shoes, and he gave me food and drink on time. He made me experience that everything comes from God. By allowing two and a half tribes to occupy the land on the east side of Canaan, he showed that you can also occupy the land on the west side of Canaan with faith. He showed that you have to rely on God, not on idols, on that land.

누가 언약에 참여할 수 있는가? 모세가 언급하는 사람을 보면 지도자부터, 이스라엘 남자와 유아들, 그리고 아내들, 더 나아가 이방인들인 객과 종들까지도 포함시키고 있습니다. 남녀노소 할 것 없이 모두 다 참여할 수 있습니다. 누구든 하나님을 인정하고 그 언약에의 충성을 다짐하면 기회가 주어지지 않는 자는 없습니다. Who can participate in the covenant? The man Moses refers to includes leaders, Israeli men and infants, wives, and even Gentiles and servants. Everyone, young and old, can participate. Anyone who recognizes God and pledges allegiance to the covenant is given a chance.

내가 깨달은 광야의 교훈은 무엇인가? 외로워도 슬퍼도, 의식주가 막혀도 내안의 주인을 바꾸면 안 된다는 것을 잊지 말아야 할 것입니다. 하나님이 사람과 언약하시는 목적이 무엇인가?  What is the lesson of the wilderness that I have realized? Don't forget that you shouldn't change your master inside, even if you're lonely, sad, or blocked from food, clothing, and shelter. What is God's purpose of making a covenant with a person?

위대한 하나님의 헤세드를 찬양합니다. 새 언약에 참여할 때 형통의 복이 임하게 된다고 하셨는데 주님, 제 마음과 보는 눈과 듣는 귀가 막혀 있으니 어쩐답니까? 오주님, 주님, 내 마음을 열어주옵소서. 지난날 제게 행하신 구원의 감격을 회복시켜 주옵소서. 때때로 외로워도 슬퍼도 의식주가 막혀도 내 안의 주인을 바꾸면 절대로 안 되는 것을 광야의 교훈을 통해 똑똑히 기억하고 새 언약 백성의 삶을 살게 하옵소서.

I praise Hessad of the great God. You said that when you participate in the new covenant, you will be blessed with prosperity. Lord, my heart, my eyes and my ears are blocked. O Lord, open my heart. May you restore the emotion of salvation you have done to me in the past. Please remember clearly through the lessons of the wilderness that even if you are lonely and sad sometimes you will not be able to change your master even if you are blocked from food, clothing, and shelter, and live the life of the people of the new covenant.
